the condescending 'are you gay?' question can only be answered in one way without sounding defensive, awkward, or like you just got punked. "yeah, i am."

the question is designed to either elicit an angry, defensive response, or make you feel awkward. if you don't do any of that, you win.

for what it's worth only immature and low-self-esteem having people (like young girls) will use these kinds of verbal tactics. after the age of 25 or so people don't use these kinds of stupid tricks because they never work on older people.

I've been asked this question before, always by male co-workers. They want to know whether youre gay or not but it also doubles as shit test to test your resolve. If you response like an emotionally sensitive girl they'll see it as weak regardless of whether you're gay or not.

My answer has always been a calm "No, I like girls". Thats it. The people asking have always been impressed with this answer. I get responses like "haha! Very good!" Or "that's perfect" and "you actually couldn't have answered it any better than that".

Sometimes it's their hamster. They know they don't have a chance but they still want you, so they make up their mind that you are gay and that's why. Nothing about them having a much lower SMV.

The example I have is when drinking with some randoms at a bar and post wall hag made the statement that I'm gay trying to get me to qualify myself. I just laughed it off, ignored her and talked to the blokes at the table. The interesting part came later when she said "you have to be gay, you're too perfect". Now that was fucking funny.

Interesting point about the politics. I agree that if your goal is to sleep with attractive women, don't appear to be too liberal. Paradoxically, this is especially true if you are a minority.

Moving further to the right, has done wonders for my dating life, even though I live in a blue state.

Funnily enough, it's actually the liberals and left-leaning women who're prejudiced and have no qualms "labeling" me because of my race/culture/identity, instead of trying to engage me as an individual and try to find out what I'm passionate about. As an Indian, I've found conservative white women far more open-minded and accepting (and def hotter too; more in shape and athletic, no tattoos/piercings) when compared to liberal college girls.

You know, this was solid advice, but we all should remember to not treat the LGBT people different either. All that will do is make you look worse. Never treat them any more nicely than someone else. This goes in line with what OP said about attending the parades.

I got this question often too, by a girl in my class. She would try to find the most convincing transgender girl or the most make up covered dude and ask if I think they look good just to see if I'll sleep up.

I used to fight this shit tooth and nail and I hated it, but once you realize that your frame is actively being attacked, you assess the situation better. Now some agree and amplify comebacks can backfire a bit, but having some knowledge about the issue at hand is better than none.

Androgyny is the default child like condition.

Accept that we are all children at some point in life and androgyny is this child like condition where males have yet to develop masculine polarity.

So for males in a sense we are supposed to seem androgynous as children.

This was so that adults wouldn't kill us... we were too cute to kill.

But now we are talking about being adults ourselves.

Masculine polarity can be defined as:

"We look at our male body part and ask 'What philosophy most benefits my male body part?'"

...from that we realize:

"Masculine polarity benefits my male body part the most."

Assuming there was no Blue Pill emotional indoctrination this would have been the end of the discussion. But because of the Blue Pill the obvious answer is being undermined and disinformation is being spread which says things aren't so clear cut.

Red Pill is easier.. maximize the benefit to your male body part... end of discussion.

I'm open to being corrected, but the post seems to be based on the premise that:

Being called gay is so publicly shameful that you need strategies to avoid it.
Activities not traditionally considered masculine are embarrassing.
Most importantly: You should give a flying fuck.

There's a big difference between doing things because you want others to think a certain way about you and doing things because you're terrified of the certain way others think about you.

If you grow a beard so people don't think you're gay (what?), how will that decision affect the rest of your life? Doesn't that say something about the rest of the decisions you're going to make?

How you do anything is how you do everything. What else are you so scared of you'll hide who you are? What other areas do you think you'll feign confidence

Just going to add my experiences of being called / asked if I'm gay. First time was 1 year ago. I was at my daughters house having a beer and her mother turned up. Her mother and I have an amicable relationship for the sake of our daughter (shes 21). And by amicable, I mean we are friendly but I share no private info with her or her husband. ie relationship status, if I'm banging a chick and so forth.

Anyway, after her 4th beer shes ready to lay out a shit test and straight asks me if I'm gay. I hold frame, look in her the eyes and laugh at her face and simply state "no" and offer no other words. So an hour after that she asks me if I want to have sex with her. To which I reply again "no" never mind the fact she's married and her husband was in the same fucking room!

Second time was a month ago and this was passed onto me second hand. My friend has a new GF who, while physically attractive is also white trash, tattoo's (and not good ones) the flash art kind all over forearms, pretty dumb and no class. I engage in small conversation with the girl but do not flirt or show any interest other than a quick chat.

So in her mind this must mean I'm gay and she dropped the "oh and I met ***** his gay friend" meaning me.The group of my friends she said this to just laughed at her as they know I'm not gay and slay pussy at my choosing. But in her mind, any guy that does not show an interest in fucking her must be gay as the alternative of - he just ain't into you, is a thought to terrible to bear.

What others say to you, how they say it, and how they act towards you is a function of how you present yourself and the respect you commend.

There are a few reasons you'd get asked if you're gay or not. a) you actually look feminine or b) shit test.

If you look feminine, you need to keep working on yourself and disregard the comments made. Squeaky voice, overly tight clothes, flamboyant attitude or whatever have you - those are things that need to be addressed and fixed. If you're pretty well calibrated and you think it's a shit test, just proceed like you would with any other shit test - ignore it or ridicule it.
