So once upon a time Psychology Today wrote a wonderful piece about why fathers made better parents than mothers. As you can well guess the article has since been scrubbed from the deepest parts of the web in favor of more "pro-women" articles, as a nationally published physician I can tell you that the medical world is already pretty cucked, but mix that with the increase we have seen in recent years and this out come is to be well expected.

Never the less, here were a few points they made

  1. Fathers are less emotional and more rational/logical when making life choices for the child(ren)
  2. The father was more likely to allow the child to have their freedom and learn from mistakes
  3. Fathers are less more likely to instill rational and logical decision making in their children
  4. Fathers are often more financially stable resulting in less household stress due to income

There were plenty more, but over all boiled down to the father being just being better rounded than mothers.

Another interesting study had this to say:

The major finding of the study was that across a variety of assessments of psychological well-being (self-esteem, anxiety, depression, problem behaviors), children (especially boys) did significantly better in the custody of their fathers. Moreover, children in father custody had the advantage of maintaining a *more positive relationship with the nonresident parent**, the mother. -* Study

When the child is in the custody of the mother the child's relationship with their father almost always suffers or is just out right snuffed.

On the flip side, again referring back to the now deleted Psychology Today article mentioned previously, fathers are less spiteful and emotional, thus leading to more stability.
