Yes! I’ve told this story before, but this literally happened to me earlier on this year. He ended it, but I think he was genuinely shocked that I didn’t beg. I’m not chasing anyone who doesn’t want me. Those days are through.

The one and only guy that broke up with me did so by text. He made bad excuse after bad excuse (he was cheating I found out later). I replied back "okay" and he was so deeply offended. Dude has tried to come back 5 different times over 18 months. The latest was 2 weeks ago. I didn't even respond, just blocked him on the latest account he made to try and reach me. Yay fds for showing me I deserve better. ❤️

I once had a guy who I'd only spoken to via texting (not even a phone call, never met) freak out on me because I "didn't fight for him" when he told me he didn't want to talk to me anymore.

When I was walking home in 7th grade, I got into a heated argument with some girl who said some weird racist nonsense. She ran away crying, then came back to me asking, “why didn’t you chase after me?” I said, “now why would I do that?” and continued to walk home.

Anytime a guy does something stupid to see if I’m going to chase them, I think of that 7th grade girl.

LMAO my ex pulled this shit CONSTANTLY. Over the course of our relationship he said he wanted to break up maybe 4 or 5 times and each time I was like "ok!" and would excitedly start packing my things as though I was a slave who had received manumission.

That gleeful response always shocked him because he expected me to be sad and beg or whatever and he would quickly backtrack. He always managed to weasel his way back into my life and my dumb ass took him back every time until I found FDS and ended things for good.

He screamed “this is over” as I walked away from him and down the hallway. I said “done” back to him as I kept walking. He immediately tells me “I don’t want to break up” and starts crying. I locked myself in my car while he packed his shit (afraid of more abuse).

He tried getting back with me relentlessly and went into an alcohol spiral. Every three months he tries to get back with me. I stand firm.

(Bonded because of child and this was our last attempt to be together. 3 years ago).

I travelled one car ride, 2 bus journeys and a grocery shop in between to meet my ex at HIS place and he was still late. got mad at him for being late and asked if we could talk about it. he said "this isn't working, we need a break". I got dressed and started packing my bag and he asked where I was going. You told me we weren't working. I went home and returned to a big essay about how he loves me and we lost our communication and he thought if he said we'd go on a break it would help us "talk" about it. AFTER I had already asked to talk about it. SMFH I took him back after that too.

I will never beg a man. Most of them use this tactic for control. One man I was seeing had a pattern of saying, "I don't think we are compatible". If I wouldn't do what he wanted. So I just said OK. Next thing he starts contacting me again as if nothing had happened. Pathetic.

Yep I’ve had a guy who said he “wanted to get to know me and didn’t just want to bang” dick me around for months as he worked away, after we had sex (second date, I know that’s early but I already deemed him as a casual thing even ons due to other reasons so I didn’t care). He wanted to see me the next day before he went back to work but I didnt see him. I think he was butt hurt. But he kept coming back and texting me. It was always this big power play him trying to get me to chase him via text (he would sometimes reply, sometimes not, sometimes short answers).

Recently he’s finally returned from work so we arranged for him to come to mine. Then last minute he asks me to go to his, because he always comes to mine.

I ended up losing it and said I’m sick of this BS and why are we bothering (it’s supposed to be casual and fun), and he was SO offended. Called me fucked in the head, told me to delete his number as I’m not worth HIS time. I said “ok”. He carried on and told me to fuck off. I never responded. Then he goes “if you want to see me make some effort for once to come to me.” I never responded. The he’s like “you really hurt me by not making the effort I really wanted to see you.” Whatever.

This guy would chase me up in an hour if I hadn’t responded to his messages! Had asked me for pics (I said no) and he kept pushing then got offended. Then started with the I miss you texts (when he was away still). Got offended when I didn’t reply. I mean, why would I. He started ghosting after we slept together and then was all over the place. I tried to talk to him initially thinking mAybe he was upset I didnt see him the day before he left but he acted like a child “chicks these days need to chill out.” Yet whenever he ghosted me, I didn’t care! Just let him go. But he could not handle me ghosting him.

Typical fuck boy on apower trip trying to destroy a woman. Fuck him.

Oh also i had confided in him (because he kept pushing for answers on why I was distant once) that a close family member died, I had a suicidal friend, and lost my job... and his initial response was mediocre. But this whole BS of him ducking me around with location happened a week after.

He fucked me around on both our dates before and the prick has the audacity to get butt hurt when I finally tell him I’m sick of it, and then when I actually leave because he told me to fuck off. Dumbass.

An ex of mine of 6 yrs broke up with me on my birthday becausw I pointed it out to him that he forgot my birthday. Only to be turned it around and him saying its I'm an asshole for thinking he forgot my birthday (which he did). So he broke up with me instead so I said "yes". I didn't even begged for him. I just accepted.

After a couple of weeks, he apologized and begged me to take him back and I did (i suck)... Only for him to break up with me again after 3 months on our anniversary over text. I was so upset. I literally begged for him to just even talk to me. Told him he should just have left me alone if he's going to do this to me again. He said that he was just trying it for "us" one more time.. Even tho I didn't even asked for it.
