I used to be and came to the realisation that modern feminism is all about keeping women down, under the guise of supposed oppression, "evil men" and victim mentality, and I found that it encourages women to look to outside sources for their failures (eg. Patriarchy) rather than looking in and changing their own behaviours. Most feminists I've met are incredibly insecure, entitled and bratty and deeply unhappy because they're intentionally trying to see the bad in everything. My mother and aunt have been feminists their entire lives and they're incredibly unhappy because they view the world is out to get them due to feminist brainwashing and trying to keep up with men when they are not men themselves. I'm trying to unravel that by helping them see that the patriarchy isn't against them, that they are not oppressed by men but are instead oppressing themselves with their mindset. Feminists oppress themselves and each other more than they realise and I was one of them. I used to be one of those feminists on social media arguing with people about feminist talking points. Girls and women are being brainwashed into wanting things that they don't want, feminists in the school system are the ones driving this, such as telling women that they should go out and become scientists, engineers, doctors, etc, when most women do not want to do that and you see many feminist mothers forcing their girls to play with boys toys instead of giving them what they actually want which is the Barbie doll. When women are given the choice, like they do in the West, they want to become social workers, hairdressers, carers, nurses, etc while women who come from countries where there isn't much choice due to family pressure, like India, Asia and the Middle East, there are higher cases of women going into the jobs feminists think women should be taking. There have been a large amount of women coming out in the West saying that they used to be a feminist, worked hard to get into their top jobs and are now miserable because that's not what they actually wanted but found out too late. Feminists don't care about what women want, they only care about what feminists want women to want in order to take over from men which is why they emphasise gender quotas in the workplace. Saying that though, it's funny how feminists only emphasise the sexy, male dominated jobs like engineering, architecture, banking and programming yet completely gloss over the male dominated jobs like sewer cleaning, dust bin collecting, brick laying, plumbing, etc.
I find the feminist movement is corrupt with lies, they lie about things like the gender pay gap (which isn't true and has been debunked countless times), that they want "gender equality" while their actions say that they want domination, how they say that they don't hate men yet are trying their hardest to change what makes men into men, their masculinity, by telling them it's toxic and should be changed because they say so. Feminists also like to claim that they care about men and want equality for all yet completely ignore the plight of men, bringing it back to how it actually affects women instead, because it's convenient for them to say they care rather than show it. They also paint women as the perpetual victim, that women are incapable of being the perpetrator, and outside sources that are to blame for everything they do and why they are silent when it comes to longer sentencing for women for the same crimes as men. They rape a young boy? She was a victim of abuse when she was younger and that it wasn't rape, she just "had sex" with a 13 year old boy. They kill a man? She has some kind of trauma and she was really the victim all along. They abuse their child? She has a mental disorder thus can't be held to blame. However, at the same time, if any of this is pointed out to feminists they backtrack and say "well it's the fault of the patriarchy because they view women as weak". It's mind boggling.
Feminists try to convince other feminists that they're the "sisterhood", they act like a hive mind, yet intentionally keep each other frightened and angry by saying that they won't achieve anything unless they "bring down the patriarchy" and to me it's deeply disingenuous and does nothing but hold women back and steer them onto a course that they didn't sign up for. They look down on women who project traditionally feminine, who want to live a traditionally feminine life and reject feminism, by calling them traitors to their gender and controlled by the men in their life; because how could a woman think for herself if she isn't a feminist, right? If she isn't a feminist then she doesn't believe in women's rights, right? Everything she likes is formed by the patriarchy instead of herself and feminism is here to save her by telling her she is wrong and everything she wants isn't actually what she wants because it's a traditionally female role which is bad and wrong. I have no problems women going into traditionally male dominated roles, my aunt in fact was an aerospace engineer during the 80's and 90's and got there through sheer hard work and determination because she loved her job, yet for some reason, in the 2020's, women are incapable of doing the exact same thing because they are, quote on quote, oppressed and should be placed into these jobs regardless if they have the qualifications or the work ethic to do so. Something doesn't quite add up. You also have too many feminists taking (useless) degrees like Gender Studies to research into the number of women in certain jobs, like engineering, and telling other women that they should go into these jobs, because there aren't *enough women (*they never provide a number to signify how much is "enough"), yet will not go into those jobs themselves. It's a "do as I say and not as I do" scenario. Why aren't they leading by example? The women who are in engineering, who are working there because they love their field, are completely ignored by feminists and just see the numbers without actually delving into why there aren't many women in engineering; I'll tell you why, it's because it's a damn hard and stressful job that takes up all of your time. To work in such a field requires a love for it and if you don't love it then you won't last long. I know a lot of male engineers and they really geek out on it, even my aunt does, and they also pointed out that many people, men included, dropped like flies because it's intense work. It's the same in the animation sector, the job I am studying for, where you work intense hours and it's painstakingly stressful yet I have feminist lecturers on my course complaining about how there aren't a lot of women in animation which is why there are competitions in place only for women (which is sexist against men because they don't have their own version) to say that women can win awards too yet these women are still unable to find jobs because the industry is sExiST. I pointed out to them that not only is that sexist against men, it paints the picture that women are unable to compete against men, and win, which is why these women aren't being hired. Why take a mediocre female animator, who won the female only competition, over the male animator who won in the ordinary competition against everyone? The man is clearly the better animator in this regard. Also, they fail to realise that the reason why women are dropping out of becoming animators is because it doesn't provide a quality of life that most women are looking for when it comes to work. The hours are long, the work is stressful and tedious and you have to constantly be at the top of your game due to intense competition which means working all. the. time. Even on your days off you are working towards being a better animator.
Most men in my life have helped me instead of held me back while most of the women in my life are the ones who have sabotaged me. I find that feminists don't actually care about women at all because they're trying to intentionally destroy everything that makes us women, our femininity, and pining us off as second rate men instead. I grew up being incredibly insecure in my femininity and it didn't help that my mother wasn't feminine either. Feminists praise women if they display masculine traits and scold women if they display feminine traits, saying that it's weak, which really hammers home how much feminists hate women and femininity yet at the same time have endless amount of praise to say about women yet nothing good to say about men. It's confusing to say the least; the movement is full of contradiction. They encourage women to sleep around like men, work like men, act like men and show of their bodies like men and constantly refute any criticisms of their actions with "well men do it/act like...". Women are not men so I don't know why they keep on saying this like it helps their argument! It makes me wonder if they hate that they were born female.
Ever since I escaped feminism I've become more confident in myself, my femininity, my abilities, my view on life has changed dramatically and I'm am much, much happier. Obviously this doesn't apply to all feminists, there are going to be mild feminists as well as radical feminists, but I find the large middle section of feminists display the traits I've listed and that's quite worrying. Since that is the case I will not identify as a feminist and will continue to identify as an egalitarian while pointing out that men and women are equal under the law yet inherently different from one another socially and biologically and should stay that way.

How rude of you. You asked me a question and I answered yet you insult me personally? How immature.
