(Piggy backing off the recent thread about men not caring about getting STD checks.)

-How many men do you know who schedule their yearly dentist appointments of their own accord? (Hey men, this means that you do it because you want to, not because someone has asked you or forced you to do it)

-How many men do you know who have even gone to the doctor for a checkup ONCE since they were 14 and their mom forced them to go?

-What men are up to date on their vaccines? Men on reddit love to preach about how stupid anti-vaxxers are while at the same time not bothering to get their own vaccines and refusing to get the flu vaccine which is heavily encouraged (in my country at least), "because I don't need it".

-How many men will recognize they have mental health issues and find themselves a therapist? Nope, it's just easier for them to become an incel then to treat their mental health issues.

MEN HAVE THE EXACT SAME ACCESS AND RESOURCE TO HEALTHCARE AS WOMEN. THEY CHOOSE NOT TO USE IT.

No one forces and begs women to go to the doctor. Women make the simple choice to go to the doctor because it's the logical thing to do.

There's a reason men who are married live longer then single men, because women are empathetic and actually care about their partners health. Meanwhile that same man is leeching years of his wife's life away as he burns her out. Same goes with the strain fathers put on their children by refusing to get help, I see this way too often and it causes SO much pain in families.

Women, stop wasting years of your life begging and pleading with your partner to go to a doctor for his obvious issues. You are burning yourself out and it's not your responsibility. I have a rule, I will mention it once in a conversation and then never again. If his health issues get out of control you leave as they obviously do not value their life.

And then the cherry on top at the end of this is men complaining about male low life spans and bad mental health and somehow it ends up as women's fault (women won't have sex with me if I show weakness :(. GIVE ME A BREAK, that's never happened). Your health is NO ONES responsibility but your own, so figure it out.

This is the subject of soooo many posts in /r/relationships.
