If you can see past the fog of mediocrity that LVM desperately try to establish as the 'standard', you can find quality men who are invested in you, and they show how invested they are.

For example, my fiancee added me as an authorized user to his $20k credit card, before we were even engaged. He still pays for all of our dates to this day. We do share bills and finances now, but he still likes to pay for dates, dinners, trips and gifts.

The credit card he added me to-- I never used it for personal expenses. He uses his card himself, and we use it together, to buy Christmas gifts, birthday gifts for family & friends, and for trips. He's just invested in me and trusts me.

That's just one example. There are guys out there who want to invest in you, who want to build something long-term, who want to build trust with you.

And I've been treated like crap by LVM. I regret every second I spent stressing over a LVM.

At this point, I’m pretty sure I’m a shining beacon for these bums... gotta change out the bulb to a wattage that actually attracts people with their shit together. I’m always the only one! Damn.

In all reality, I know I’m probably not looking in the right places. I have yet to find where they are!

I think meeting men like this is all about how you perceive yourself and your worth. If you are confident in yourself because you know you're taking care of yourself the best you can, you attract men who are willing to invest in you. It has been my experience

Several of my exes were like this. They were generous with me when I was struggling, then when I got on my feet, I was happy to help out wherever I could. They never rubbed any of it in my face. One of them paid off a $3k cc debt I had and didn’t expect anything. I have an ex I run into in our neighborhood once in awhile and he fills up my gas tank because he knows I could use the help. He offers every time and I know it pleases him to do things for me. It’s no skin off his back and he enjoys helping me so I let him. He always lets me use his airline miles too to go see my sick friend or take my kids to Disneyland. I don’t do anything in exchange for the favor. He’s just a giving person.

By contrast, I know a couple cheap ass men who would never buy a woman a meal or even a coffee. I have little to do with them outside of being their acquaintance. Not surprisingly, they’re single. They claim to be happy single but they’re always looking around for hook ups. That’s the best they’ll ever do, and they can’t even get those. One of them is 47 and said his ideal age for a woman is 28. I just had to lol. He isn’t getting sex from anyone. Beggars can’t be choosers, and women are better off if he stays out of the dating world anyway so I’m glad he’s delusional.

Once you’ve been with a giving man, it’s impossible to be with a cheap, selfish one. One more reason the LVM are looking for inexperienced women. They know that it’s a lot harder for women to lower the bar than if the bar has never been set.

I dated a guy who literally didn’t know how to put gas in a car. He was 35 and didn’t drive. I asked him to do it while I went in to pay and he poured fuel everywhere.
