As this sub explodes in popularity, and more and more women are learning how to spot a LVM in the wild (and ditch it before it attaches itself) - it made me think about all the IRL friends of all of this sub's followers. And that's a FUCK of a lot of women.

3 of my closest friends are single (all in their 30s like myself) and using OLD right now. Over the last few weeks, they would tell me about their dates, and I would casually respond with FDS methods and ideas. They got excited pretty quickly and just kept asking questions and I just kept laying down facts - I can confidently say they have all adopted the methods. My one friend told off a guys she had been dating for around 2 months pretty much right after I explained how to spot a LVM and asked her why she was accepting such low effort bullshit. My other pal has started to finally question her shit marriage and has started making some absolutely ruthless decisions. She has been a Pickmeisha for YEARS, probably one of the worst ones I have ever met. And I wondered why, sitting with one of my worst Pickmeisha girlfriends, I could convince her to try something else so quickly. Why she immediately and without much explanation, understood the concept and could predict the actions of a LVM.

And I realized that while FDS seems "controversial" in writing and on Reddit (of all places /s), this is NOT that controversial in your living room, sitting with one of your girlfriends over a glass of wine. They might hesitate at first and ask some questions but deep down, most women are just so so SICK of men's shit. Even the women who don't act like it. Even the women who pretend that everything is good. Most women have had extremely similar experiences with men's bullshit - so much so that when we share our stories with each other, we all nod. Have you ever noticed that? No woman ever seems overly surprised to hear about a man's depravity. Because we have ALL been there: cheated on, gaslighted, fucked over, used for sex, lied to, raped, molested, beat. On a fundamental, cellular level, ALL WOMEN are connected through the pain we carry that has been caused by men

But a lot of women have never been given permission to acknowledge their pain, to feel it, to talk about it with anyone else. We are told that it's just the way men are, that we have to be understanding, forgiving, chill, sexy and fun but not too fun, and emotional but not too serious, dont be clingy, dOnT bE lIkE oThEr GirLs. So we don't talk about it with each other, not in a real way. We will tell one another about the shitty thing after it's over, but we don't tell one another about the pathetic Pickmeisha shit we do, like triple texting, paying for all of your dates, getting negged and sleeping with him anyways - and then feeling really devastated when surprise, surprise, he doesn't call.

We look to one another for validation that men were shit after they're gone - but we don't talk to one another nearly as much about how our own behaviours are bringing LVM in, and allowing them to stick around.

So start having those conversations with the women in your lives. Start slow and gentle with the really entrenched Pick-Me's. Start building your friends up and reminding them that they deserve better. IF YOUR GIRLFRIEND IS IN A SITUATIONSHIP WITH A LVM, START MONOPOLIZING HER TIME. Start asking her to hang out more often and boost that girls self esteem every time you see her. Point out when other men are checking her out and giving her eyes. Get the women you love away from LVM!
