I would have left him on read. He’s being INCREDIBLY disrespectful. He had the gall to tell you that he’s only back because his relationship with someone else didn’t work out. This dude has no respect for you. Don’t paragraph men. When they’ve done you dirty, just block and move on. Don’t entertain them.

The attitude was good, but the execution was bad. The best is to not answer at all. When we explain they will just lie better to the next one. They don't care. You think he thought of this convo for even 30 seconds afterwards? No. He was on to the next one.

Save yourself some time and energy. It just shows you are bitter. The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. He is nothing. Block, move on.
