I used to believe all this stuff men say about wanting natural, everyday girls but somehow my experiences with online dating say otherwise?

I’ve tried online dating with some regular photos of mine, just everyday light makeup and over several weeks of talking to men, they only wanted sex. They only asked me to be fuck buddies, to come over for sex at their house etc. I was talking with average looking and attractive men online so I’m saying that average looking men with “dad bods” do this too, not only the “hot” guys.

I was going to delete the apps anyway so I tried deleting all of my “regular” photos and only using my best looking photos to see what would happen before deleting it altogether.

Using my best photos I actually got the average looking men who were previously asking only for sex now wanted to take me out to dinner, and even hot guys were saying they really wanted to get to know me with a relationship in mind.

It only took a few days for me to be asked out on many actual dining dates using my “hot” photos whereas using my regular photos I was trying for maybe a month or 2 months and only getting offers for sex and hookups only.

In my “hot” photos I’d say I look pretty much like a model (I don’t know how to say it and not sound conceited and dumb I’m sorry, I’ve even had people liken me to Megan Fox sometimes in my best photos) and in my “regular” everyday light makeup I still look cute, attractive and good enough.

I’m curious how other women’s online dating experiences go, is being pretty in a regular way enough for you or do you have model looks for online dating to work for you?

For me to look like my best looking photos everyday is doable but would take a lot of time and effort and that’s not something I’m going to do just to get a man in my life, but I am improving myself just for my own confidence.

I’ve deleted online dating and put dating away from my mind for now for a few weeks, but just wanted to share my experiences I had in the recent past.

I’m trying to work on my confidence before I attempt dating again, I don’t want men only wanting sex to affect me too much if I try dating again because I know that happens to every woman to some degree.
