I was talk to a woman on r/BlatantMisogyny about portrayal in the media(when were arguing about a screenshot from another sub) and I wanted to ask are you(women) okay with women being portrayed as sexualized, one dimensional or being incompetent if the media is geared specifically to men because her argument was that in all these female-led films were the males are portrayed as incompetent, disposable or one dimensionally evil are okay because it's targeted towards women. I tried to argue with her but got banned so I want to ask how you feel about the topic, I think it's sexist in both instances and no matter the sex that leads the story or the sex it's targeted towards you should treat the opposite with respect.
