See what they want is all of the pampering and sucking up of a relationship but they want to pay for it because that way they own you and can tell you what to do and have leverage. With an actual relationship they would have to put in effort, time, respect and care about her sexual desires and pleasure and accept no for an answer. They want all of the benefits but don't want to provide any and will willingly part with some of their money to have it. These type fundamentally juvenile, selfish and narcissistic misogynists who want to own a woman. This is exactly why these type of men don't want a real relationship where they have to invest anything into the woman, because she actually does have power in that type of relationship and can benefit herself and fulfil her needs. In the relationship he wants the woman gets nothing and has nothing.

I had a friend that used to sugar, and she told me that the ones who "didn't want it to feel transactional" were the ones that never wanted to pay her for her time, or wanted to string her along with promises of travel or other "benefits." Why she tolerated that, I'll never know. Those men didn't want a "connection," they wanted free sex.

Story time— when I was 18 and got into sugaring (sigh—I know) I had this one guy on SA offer me an arrangement of $10k a month to me his “girlfriend” he bought me a bunch of lingerie before we even met and I 100% agreed to anything, also didn’t even ask me what kind of lingerie I liked...had the audacity to call that “spoiling me” took my to Best Buy to Xmas shop for his 13 year old sons, told me I could pick out a Xmas gift (I picked out the newest MacBook at the time) and after buying his sons over $5k of expensive stuff right in front of me and over text the night before literally said he would also take me Xmas shopping to “get whatever I wanted”... told me he would buy my laptop later (right before Xmas he said); then asked me to come to his house and spend the night (btw we had only hung out once before- a sushi date to see if we “liked” each other) and then tried to hold the $10k over my head to get me to sleep with him...in the texts I was told I would get the cash UPFRONT but he made me spend all day with him then tried to manipulate me into wearing his lingerie “gifts” and to have sex with him before giving me the cash let alone even SEEING it. I made up an excuse and left... I was livid because he was actually rich and his house had been a massive mansion with its own estate (on property tennis court, 2 pools, horse stable, a gazebo and orchard and a 5 car garage)...over text later he said he was just super horny and had just gotten out of a “loveless sexless marriage” and “really needed sex” I told him “I thought I was your girlfriend not an escort you’re trying to scam?” And he got mad, didn’t talk to me— found my new SA account months later and deadass messaged me “are you ready to be a grown up now and actually follow through with our arrangement?” And I just blocked him...

If men have anything it’s the audacity. By the way I was 18 almost 19, and he was 59-65 (they usually shave a few years off, he said he was like 55 but I didn’t buy it). Unbelievable.
