Recently, at my club's holiday party, several of the members were asking if I had a ring yet, when would be good news, and when I would have a ring. It was ridiculous how often it happened during the party! One girl was even telling me and my bf about how excited she was for our future and how cute our kids would be. I was shocked, it wasn't like this at our last meeting. On top of that he keeps saying how he loves the future we're building together and we've started making plans to buy a vacation home together in the near future (he already owns a house and is buying his second in 2 years). He keeps emphasizing his house as "our home." We've already talked about kids and at his company's holiday party he made it clear he wants to spend his life with me.

He's taking me on a ski trip on Christmas day. Some of my friends are thinking he will propose then, but honestly I am 100% certain he is not! He is terrible at keeping secrets (his phone shows reminders on the screen and I know that he is currently building me a vanity because of that) and my sister would have let me know if he talked to her about it. I also think its a bit too early (as in he hasn't had time to plan and get a ring).

Did any of you realize beforehand and what were the clues? How long were you thinking, "he might propose soon!"
