men and women each go through their own struggles, neither is good or bad. (also, I'm talking about men & women and not like non binary and stuff because I haven't seen this issue with them, meaning the endless arguing) idk I'm rlly tired lol so I'm trying to make as much sense as I can I just wanted to get this off my chest. I feel like there's an elephant in the room we as a society are avoiding, that's causing a lot of issues between men and women, causing them to hate each other, and it's sad to see :/ but I feel like the thing is that we just need to accept that like we go through life differently, we experience different things that the other can't fully understand but should just like listen and try to emphasize, but instead each side I feel like is saying well I don't experience that or feel that way so you shouldn't either, and you're bad for feeling that way. for example, with sexualization, if a women is wearing shorts and a guy stares, the guy is a bad guy, "all men suck", etc(is what people/women will say) I think we say this because we don't understand it, the way we experience sexuality is different. but this is causing a divide because instead of addressing this we just argue and say the other side/men are wrong for feeling how they feel cuz we don't feel it. I'm a woman, a lot of things about men confuse me and sometimes have frustrated me, i know guys feel the same way about women, like here everyone is arguing of why are men like this? why are women like this? and everyone is angry lol. I feel like a lot of problems on each side were created by social media, like the sexualization and objectification of women, is causing frustrations on each side, but isn't either sides fault imo, the media has been sexualizing women and objectifying them and so women are seeing it and objectifying themselves, and men treating women like objects, because both sides don't know any different and both sides are playing into it and then getting mad about the other side playing into it and blaming the entire issue on the other side. like instead of actually looking into the source of the problem , people just blame the other side cuz it's easier, and then they don't have to see that maybe they could be contributing to the problem. btw, when I gave the example of shorts before you get mad, I absolutely do not think women should be made uncomfortable for just wearing shorts and think women should be able to comfortably wear whatever they want, what I mean is like clearly that's an issue, women getting cat called and stalked and stuff is an issue, but instead of saying that issue is just because men suck, men are creeps, etc, why is it that this is happening? I think because women are being over sexualized and thus training men to view women this way and like they see certain outfits they see in porn, their mind is going to go to porn... they're taught watching porn is normal, porn teaches guys(usually children, boys in middle school or younger start watching it) that the stuff they see in porn is normal, and also changes their brain to think this way. Is it the boys fault ? I really honestly wanna know your opinion, like I just wanna learn lol. tell me I'm wrong and tell me why if you think I am, since I'm not a guy I have no idea what it's like and to me it's a missing puzzle piece and I probs am wrong about my assumptions but I'm saying this to get opinions so I can understand better, cuz i feel like that's what we all need. also for girls, so we see women on magazines, tv, youtube, instagram, wearing a lot of makeup, photoshopping themselves, getting plastic surgery, mostly(not always, some of this we do for ourselves yes) for the male gaze, we complain that men made those standards we have to live up to but like the media made them, we made them collectively, and they are an issue, but instead of blaming men idk we could question why the media is making us feel like we have to make ourselves look that way. and I feel like even the experience of sex itself, like men and women just dont undertsand each other, like there's just a huge disconnect between men and women and the gape is growing bigger and bigger. ahhh idk lol I havent slept in like 48 hrs I probs shouldn't even post this because I don't think I even made my point or explained it well at all.... idk

I wish men and women could calmly talk about our differences and explain our sides and listen to each other about it instead of turning it into a good vs bad type of thing. if u wanna know why women are like certain ways, lmk i could try to explain, and if you wanna explain why men do certain things, I rlly like actually wanna know like I wanna listen & learn lol

I think we're both conditioned essentially to do the things on each side that the other side has an issue with
