No you're not crazy. I hate when men do these scummy things and then sit back and go 'heehee stop being crazy' knowing full well what they are doing. If you followed a bunch of beefcakes I'm sure he would be bothered too. It's just embarrassing when your boyfriend acts like this, especially when you have to see him embarrass himself by posting cringe comments. I completely agree. There is nothing worse than scrolling through instagram and seeing your boyfriend simping for someone else and then being told to stop being crazy and you are being controlling. I've been through this and god I do not miss it.

Here’s my policy on this:

It’s fine if my man finds other women attractive. Totally normal. However, there’s no reason he needs to inform these other women that he finds them attractive.

Some people argue that a “like” means nothing. I disagree. I say this because I was friends with girls in high school and in college and many of them viewed a man liking their pictures as flirting.

I don’t want another woman to get the impression that my man is flirting with her or interested in her sexually. I wouldn’t date a man who walked up to another woman and told her how hot she was, or told her “I like that sexy outfit,” so why would I date a man who’s doing that same thing but virtually instead of in real life?

You’re not crazy. I would bring it up one more time, explain how deeply it hurts you, and if he doesn’t stop then it’s time to move on.

I would never be okay with this happening. Nope. I'm even okay with porn in moderation, laugh when he sees an attractive girl he's trying not to look at, etc, but following individual girls on instagram and giving them attention - that is a hard no and you are not crazy. Don't let him convince you that you are or be ashamed of having boundaries. It's YOUR relationship too.

You are right to be bothered but for the wrong reasons. If a guy follows Instagram models and spends their time liking their pictures and commenting on them, that just shows that the guy is low-quality. There is literally zero value to be gained from this. High quality men are more concerned with their goals. Looking at someone attractive is human nature, but seeking out and commenting on attractive ladies when in a relationship just signals a man who is not /mature driven. That’s my opinion though, I would be turned off more than possessive towards this guy.

Obviously my husband is going to appreciate beautiful women, but I would feel disrespected if he felt the need to publicly like their pictures etc. I think it’s tacky and lacks class xo

If he gives you enough attention when you are together and cares for you, there is nothing to worry about. As long as he is not cheating on you, I really don't see the problem. Let him watch some beautiful women. What exactly bothers you? You think it's disrespectful to you or you just compare yourself to these other women and get despressed you don't loo like them?

your boyfriend probably also looks at women in the street, probably also watches porn. Its natural and there is nothing wrong with it. Its male nature. Doesn't mean his cheating. We are hard wired for that. You won't change that. And women do it to, even if its more subtle. You are not "crazy" but you are controlling for no reason. At some point you have to accept reality. People are hard wired to find other people attractive. It isn't in our control and doesn't depend on faith, relationships, etc.
