Sure; but it's punished, sometimes by death/flogging.

This even extends to Honor Killings in the West. Tbh I'm Muslim myself but I have no idea how Muslim Women would be if it wasn't enforced at a Societal Level.

Western Born Muslim Women seem to prove that the problem is just with their Gender (looking at you "Progressive" Muslims lol); but from the ones that I'VE MET personally, even Western Born Muslim Women tend to skew on the Conservative side (still wearing the Hijab despite it not being legally required, not sleeping around, not cheating).

One would think this would apply to Conservative/Right Wing/Christian Girls but in my experience it does not. Many were only too happy to jump into bed once we'd been "Dating" for awhile; even if they were virgins (idk if that's true, that's just what they told me).

Not judging either way; it would be incredibly hypocritical for me to do so.

It's not American women; it's American culture. Yes, American women are notoriously difficult to date. They are less humble, less giving, less approachable, and less inclined to initiate or do the approaching...all because of culture. The US has a pretty sexist dating culture where the guy is expected to do everything. Dating is different around the world, but sexist gender roles where the man always pays and initiates/does everything is really just limited to anglophone countries.

Women in USA have been brainwashed to glorify casual sex. Sex is considered something fun, luxurious and interesting like traveling.

Women talk about sex like it's some luxurious vacation trip and it gives them higher status in their social circles. There is a ton of social pressure for American women to have sex from their social circle or else they'll be seen as boring. American women use their stories and experiences about sex to gain clout in their female social circles and to strengthen their female friendships.

Thank you for sharing this point, a lot of western women are misinformed and think that it's only women in traditionalist cultures who are shamed for having sex before marriage, and they think that men are allowed to do it, and they revise history to fit this false belief.

It's notable that it is the women in your society that enforce the social expectation that men remain virgins until marriage, this was the case in the western world until the introduction of birth control changed women's behaviour and opinions on this.

After the introduction of birth control, women started to value male virginity less and less until it came to the point of inflex where women actually now prefer non-virgins, in aggregate.

I believe the reason for this was as this reflected women's own sexual histories, only 5% of western women marry as virgins now.

The value system in the west regarding sex, has changed remarkably. Author Esther Perel notes that sex has become regarded as identity, whereas traditionally it was regarded as part of the marriage relationship.

This has been a huge cultural shift, as people now view extra-marital sex as an exploration of their identity, and this is particularly the case with western women.

Women naturally want to find the best mate for their potential offspring, it’s a biological instinct. At times this may prompt them to cheat, or if not cheating then sometimes they will have “orbiters” or branch-swing to other men they feel are more “worthy” in that moment.

I really don’t think how you were raised has much to do with cheating, all it takes is for someone to be willing and a lack of self-control. I think in the west, women have less risks to cheat because they usually have jobs and money of their own as well as less religious and traditional values that may stop them from doing so.

From what I’ve seen on here, young women and older men are the groups that cheat the most. I guess this can be explained by young women having more options and therefore trying to find the best partner, while older men become bored or dissatisfied with their marriage.

Being American or a rich westerner (UK/Canada) is such a massive status boost to people in these developing countries that the many of the problems American men face with American women disappear when dealing with women in these other counties. 9/10 Colombian Stacey-cita will treat an above average American guy as a GOD, submissive, agreeable, wifey material, but will still treat all the beta Jose's from Colombia like shit cause they can't do shit for her.

We know Chad's have it easy even in the US, can get away with a lot more, and women go out of their way to please them even if treated poorly. Will also never be a feminist in front of Chad. The closest most guys would be able to getting that treatment is being in a developing country where you're richer than 99% of the population by default.

I'm in Europe, I like to look at the US like a kind of petri dish and see if it predicts some behavior for the future. I do like to watch Japan's for the same reason, but language make it so there's a lack of data, and they have a very specific culture.

Egypt also has a big influence by culture. In mine it explains some stuff on the deeper level, but this sub make the mistake of framing people's behavior as rational (probably because we explain it rationally and from our seat) when there's a way bigger variability that comes the emotional level and the reality of the in the moment context.

I've talked to quite a few women in foreign countries who express general discontent with the men in their own countries who pursue them, so I would have to say that, yes, the problems with dating exist everywhere since women are hypergamous and very choosy. Being a western guy (and thus being top-tier in their minds) gave me an opportunity to hear from foreign women back when I was chatting with them online about the men in their own country and their perceived problems with those men. Men in other countries can be just as clueless about women, and many are probably even worse than American men because they have much more traditional attitudes, while women in traditional countries are becoming much less traditional very quickly due to the influence of the internet and social media.
