It’s a debate sub so you’ll see varying people. Most here are purple to some degree in my opinion because they at least accept truth and reality of the genders.

The real blue pill is “blank slate” mentality where men and women are intrinsically the same. You see that sometimes here but it’s not very often. I think that’s more along the lines of the true blue pill mentality. You’ll however see “blue pill” members here but they identify as such because they are anti-red pill, not because they believe antiquated gender theory.

Most pills stem from one fact, it requires time, money, and/or energy for men to get sex. Different pills have different ways of saying it but the core concept is the same.

"All men pay for sex one way or another" "Relationships takes work" "No one is entitled to sex" etc.

Different pills have different responses to this.

TRP is about being "the rational male" in the sexual market place. Its about ruthless efficiency, minimizing time, money, and effort invested while maximizing sexual returns. This is done under the belief that we can reach a threshold of efficiency where the sex is actually worth the work.

MGTOW do not believe such efficiency can be achieved, at least not for them. So they forgo women entirely.

Bluepills tend actually to enjoy the work involved. So efficiency isn't too relevant to them. It seems absurd to TRP/MGTOW, but there are some men out there that have no problems having minimal sex, or actually enjoy raising another man's spawn.

PPD stands as a middle ground. Acknowledging the rational aspect of TRP as well as the human aspect of TBP.

This is a debate sub so it’s about ppl from different ideologies debating their beliefs. Personally I think that the red pill is the most accurate, but every pill is right about something. I believe if you can take the good from each and discard the bad from each you can become a high value man. This is solely my opinion on the good and bad takes from the different pills, I’m not speaking for anyone else but my own views.

Blue Pill Good - Teaches to put yourself out there, be a good genuine dude. Treat women with respect.

Blue Pill Bad - Does not emphasize the importance of self improvement or female SEXUAL attraction as opposed to how it emphasizes getting women to simple LIKE you.

Red Pill Good - Emphasizes how to cast a wide net and how to attract women sexually. Teaches self improvement through the gym, style, and confidence. See yourself as the prize don’t chase women who clearly don’t want you, it’s a numbers game.

Red Pill Bad - Often has ties with a bitterness and hatred for women. Obsession with being “Alpha” leads a lot of them to think being mean to girls and wearing sunglasses indoors attracts women. PUA books and tactics lead men into doing goofy tactics and gimmicks that creep women out or get sexual assault charges.

Black Pill Good - Recognizes the importance looks play in female attraction.

Black Pill Bad - At worst they literally hate women and at best they completely have given up on life and hate themselves.

If you recognize that to get hot girls you need to self improve your looks, style, money, status (whatever you can manage, everything helps but you don’t need to have it all) and you combine that with being a good genuine dude who just goes out and is himself, that is what I believe is to be most optimal. I say I’m “red pill” because that’s probably closest to what I describe, but I find myself arguing with bitter angry red pill “alpha males” who insist that I’m blue pilled for suggesting women actually don’t like being yelled at or put in their place or men who are 7ft tall roided out with a 9inch dick and a billion dollars.

Purple pill is not a separate pill. It's just a space where red and blue come together to debate their views. When you mix the colors red and blue, you get purple, so that's why the sub is named as such.

I think some elements of BP/mainstream thinking and some elements of RP are true. But the basis for both of these ideologies is not rooted in actual science so they are both to be taken with a grain of salt.

The core descriptive elements of Red Pill are fairly accurate, though they can get a bit distorted at the extremes.

The prescriptive aspects of Red Pill--what you should do with this info.--are pretty bankrupt and short-sighted IMO.

Blue Pill would mean following the post-80s Feminist rhetoric, which is ultimately well-meaning but also ultimately wrong because it is based on the anti-science idea that men and the women are essentially the same and that our psychological traits are almost entirely culturally constructed.

Nobody really seems to know what Black Pill means. Essentially, it seems to be taking the most extreme Red Pill descriptive elements to heart and then being very pessimistic about what they entail. Whatever Black Pills are, they are not "enjoying the decline".

The pills are nonsense, just fairy tales about how romantic interactions are supposed to go. They establish certain expectations and assumptions as "objectively true" which then sets their duped adherents up for frustration when it turns out that living humans do not conform to those measures.

If anything can be gained from them it's the understanding that there are a lot of people out there chasing ghosts. That there are men who are more interested in the idea of a woman, of sex, of the status of the "alpha", than they are interested in actual living women. That there are women who are more interested in the idea of a man, of sex, of the comfort of complicity, than they are interested in actual living men. They don't see the human individual in one another, they only see the phantasms they insist must exist in the world. What else can this result in but failure? What kind of person can these things create but a deluded one?
