I mean, how else can you really explain these numbers? The male suicide rate is ~4x the rate of female suicide. This figure is even more significant when you realize that men are also tougher than women mentally, not necessarily inherently, but because of the lifestyles they are forced to lead as a result of their gender - one of no emotional offloading, no support network (social or otherwise), no allocation of societal resources to male issues, nothing. Sure, a man in the top 1% is going to have a better life than a woman at the bottom, but her equivalent male is experiencing suffering on a completely different magnitude entirely.

Given this, I don't believe it's fair for women to ever talk about men's issues like they have any understanding at all but not the other way around because they are speaking from a lower place, even if they think they've had it bad. Bad for men and bad for women are completely different things because women get the "pussy pass" for almost anything including but not limited to mental illness. The challenges and difficulties in their lives are essentially neutered versions of what equivalent men face on a daily basis and this neuterization renders their advice basically worthless because it comes from a different context.

For example, when a woman says she has depression, 99% of the time she still has friends, a boyfriend, a family, etc. A man that has depression often only has family, if that at all, and probably is on the verge of blowing his brains out.
