I come back with a second rope because I'm super setting the upper and lower cables. After asking where I got it and explaining it's only her second week here:

She stares at me like I'm retarded. This woman has clearly spent years on a good diet and in the gym.

With a nervous laugh she explains, no she just moved here. Instinctively I say:

Take my number, I'll show you around.

She puts my number in her phone and that's that. No text me or call me quick. Abundance mentality. I don't give a shit.

Now I had to reflect on why I naturally gravitate towards giving a woman my number and not asking for hers:

  • A girl is much more likely to take a number, than give one.

Why? Because she can still flake.

Some of you might say I didn't actually close because she may never put my number to use but that's exactly my point.

  • It's a screening process.

If she text, I'm in. If not, she wasn't that interested.
