I totally support being in a relationship and living separately. I wish people didn't date with the goal of cohabitation. I could be faithful to one guy if he was attractive and nice enough but I don't want to give up my personal space

I think the older you get the harder it is to accommodate to another human being into your life on a regular basis. You just need to change so much of it, so you feel that it isn't worth it.

I can understand it, but I have the opposite experience here. My husband and I met when we were 16, we started cohabitating a year later and we've been together since. We've been working from home for last 2-3 years, so we do spend most of our day together. And we sleep together as well. In all senses. Neither of us has had sex with other person. I've never even kissed anyone romantically besides my husband.

So...no, I absolutely love the idea of spending most of my day and sharing the bed with the same person.
