I remember seeing a thread complaining about asian fetish. I had made a comment asking what is exactly wrong about finding asian women attractive.. they could only give answers full of bad assumptions like "they wanna date asian women because they think theyre submissive and subserviant".. like cant a man just find asian girls beautiful?

When it comes to sexuality, they have lots of ways of framing men as bad.

The concept of sexual objectification and “male gaze” comes to mind.

Sexual objectification seems to be an oxymoron to me. A stripper is, according to them, being objectified. A stand-up comedian, not so much. They assume that appreciating one aspect of a person means treating them like an object, and assuming that is the only quality they have- as long as that one aspect is sexuality. Do you think comedians cry about how people only see them for their comedy and not as a whole person? No. They only do this with sex. Sexual attributes are the radioactive topic for them. They must not be appreciated or noticed. At least for women. Totally taboo. I don’t get this.

Because in the minds of these types of women, men would be lucky to be assigned to the woman that has chosen them after they have proven their worth. Women are individuals and men are generic tools to serve a purpose. When they are done that purpose they are discarded, but ofcourse still to support the woman.

I disagree with the “Wants to date women” not being criticized. If that excludes transwomen (which is the vast majority of men, I think anyone would assume) then you are transphobic. I went to /r/asktransgender years ago and asked if it was normally considered transphobic after I saw a mention of it elsewhere. I got a lot of responses, and every one of them except one told me it was transphobic. Some said it was transphobic but understandable, others said I was a monster. Point is, there is definitely criticism.

Which overall helps your point. Some people (not just guys) get waaaay too weird with their likes and the way they express them. But if I’m straight up asked if I like “bigger girls”, I’m not going to lie. You’d think these people had never heard of someone being unattracted to them. I can’t imagine having such high self-esteem (i.e. arrogance) to think that way, but some apparently are.

I think modern feminist ideology towards Asian women and white men's relationship towards them has been informed by the US military involvement in Japan and the geisha culture in places like Kyoto they see the service culture and assume it's typical of all Asian women to behave that way which is in of itself racist as most women in Asia don't behave that way towards men and certainly not all women in Japan either they took what was essentially a business transaction and took it as typical of the culture and imposed their cultural assumptions on it (it a woman is selling something a service to a man then there must be a sexualised element to it)
