I hate the notion men can’t be victims of sexism

The argument they use to suppoirt their claims typically can be shot down with simple counter points. eg they talk about things like women didn't have the right to vote. Which technically is true but only for about 2-3 generations and prior to that men didn't have any right to vote either.

eg "The Representation of the People Act 1918" prior to this 40% of men still could not vote either.

From a leader ship point of view. In history before democracy there were female queens/leaders etc.... Some of which were absolutly terrible like "Bloody Mary" there was plenty of tyranical men as well of course. Where the oppression and the patriarchy exactly? I actually think they have their argument completely the wrong way round. Men overall were more oppressed they got drafted, hunted, killed did all the dangerous jobs etc... etc...

I realise a very small number of men over the year did hold most of the power overall. BNut its a very small minority. Just like it is today 1% own like 50% of the world.

Women say it’s about power and men are in power.

There's a lot of truth in that it's about power. BUT. Ask them what they mean about "men are in power." Ask them to PROVE it. It's very much disproveable.

Wage gap is thoroughly debunked.

Women control vast majority of disposable income

Women and men both have equal voting power.

Etc. I always ask Feminists, "What legal right do men have that you do not?" They NEVER answer, because they can't. But I can, if you flip the sexes. Duluth model, child custody, crime sentencing, funding for domestic violence, VAWA.

Power is held by women. Anyone who points to men at the top are just committing apex fallacy.

That is all women are nowadays. It is not about equality it is about superiority. I kinda gave up and said fuck you I am the superior one. It is the only way to deal with them. Idc if it is backwards. If you can't be equal I will be damned if I am below you.

It is the same thing with race in this shit country. It is not about equality it is all about them wanting superiority.

Oppression and discrimination can occur where ever one person has more power that someone else. While there are plenty of situations where men have more power than women, the presence of this unequal dynamic allows for sexism but does not innately create it.
Anyone who touts that men cannot be a victim of sexism is either using a fringe definition for sexism or is just being dishonest to try and make their point.

I’ll take the downvotes for my unpopular opinion on this.

There’s a lot of really good and interesting posts in this subreddit. And then there are posts like this which to me honestly seems no more different than feminist rants, with inverse signage.

‘Feminist do this’ and ‘feminist do that’ is in terms of substantial argument no different than hearing about the evils of the patriarchy.

I don’t understand. Are you saying that women can’t experience sexism? Or are you saying it only applies to men. Can you clarify how men can be victims of sexism. I am not trying to play devil’s advocate. I am just wondering when men experience sexism? And how women don’t experience sexism.... for clarity.

Even if a woman is guilty, it's STILL somehow the man's fault. It's like a woman cheating on her husband, she'll ALWAYS find a way to blame it on him justifying her unfaithful actions.
