So there's two people and one is 100% responsible while the other is 0% responsible. And, like, there are no contraceptive sponges or IUDs or diaphragms or Norplant or anything else to help that second person.

I read through this, and this chick writes like she's got the mental age of 12. Mormons will believe simply anything. There's a reason their name is one 'm' away from the truth.

Imagine being praised for suggesting unconsensual, mass sterilisation of one sex. Now imagine being praised for suggesting the mass sterilisation of children of one sex.

I always worry for that boy who will stumble upon a horrible article like this, and have his self-worth diminished because of what some cruel, disgusting women say. I had those experiences, as I'm sure many others here have, it's not helpful, especially during the vulnerable time adolescence is.

At least they're not bothering to hide their misandry.

In my experience, men really like their testicles. If irresponsible ejaculations were putting their balls at risk, they would stop being irresponsible. Does castration seem like a cruel and unusual punishment? Definitely.

But is it worse than forcing 500,000 women a year to puke daily for months, gain 40 pounds, and then rip their bodies apart in childbirth? Is a handful of castrations worse than women dying during forced pregnancy & childbirth?

Put a castration law on the books, implement the law, let the media tell the story, and in 3 months or less, tada! abortions will have virtually disappeared. Can you picture it? No more abortions in less than 3 months, without ever trying to outlaw them. Amazing.

There's a comment I read maybe a year ago from a guy who had a lot of bad experiences with women. He basically said "I've never seen any definitive proof that women don't hate men." This is one of those things that, once you see it, it's with you forever. You could never advocate the forced sterilization of a woman, and if you did, half of the outrage would come from other men. Here, I can't avoid the fact that I see a lot of support, a lot of excuses, and most of it from women.

On the flip side as devils advocate - if this were a funded voluntary program that a male could sign up for and had funded IVF (because reversals often do not work) there would be no more men on this program raising anothers child... or "Honey I'm pregnant" or unwittingly becoming a father. But it'd probably wind up being mandatory or compelled and as a system would be rife for fk ups and abuse.... and her reasoning has more holes than can be counted.... and imagine the screams if only the male could release the stored sperm IE No woman has any access to it...

I get this is addressing rape, but this statement... Wow..

So, in a consensual setting... Never has an irresponsible woman been involved or able to take blame? Missing or not taking birth control? Never has a woman convinced a man to be sexually active without protection? Or lied about being fixed/unable to be pregnant or even changed their minds when they did become pregnant willingly?

I’m speechless after reading that. I have two young boys and I’m like Oh Hell No. I have 4 kids. I was an active participant in creating those kids (even the unexpected one!). You know having sex with someone you trust and communicate with is probably an important factor. You know, instead of just blaming one person... Because I am a responsible woman I am getting my tubes tied in 2 weeks - maybe we should mandate that? Or IUDs? Non hormonal ones have very few side effects... oh yeah, now I am policing a woman’s body... funny how that works.

Technology ain't there just yet, but if it could be reversible, and out-patient... I could actually get behind that. Women need to stop weaponizing pregnancy and manipulating men. This would end a lot of that horse shit real quick. Also, if sex was pretty much 100% risk free, maybe they could stop acting so fucked up about it and start forming healthy relationships with healthy behavior. Women are the ones causing problems, not men.
