Thousands of dads are left in shock as DIY paternity tests soar. Up to 30,000 tests are being performed every year, says Alphabiolabs. In the UK about 750,000 babies are born every year. Feminists want the test to be illegal without the written consent of the mother.

Borrowed from the comments:

So Sandrine, what first attracted you to the millionaire Marcel Amphoux?

His smile.

That's a redo of the classic Mrs Merton line when talking to Debbie McGee about Paul Daniel's.

After seeing the pic, I can confirm that is a damn lie.

She either never seen him smile, or she is trying to be funny.

Actually /u/furchfur would like to have a word with you about that inappropriate joke. He's under the impression that there was zero sex.

Shiit, you don't need a million dollars to do that. Look at my cousin, he's broke, ties his tie like shit.

I know, conspiracy theory but it just seems like they hatched a plan when they couldn't buy his property to marry and kill this guy once he had made a will. Luckily he saw through it and rewrote the will before she offed him.

Just looking at the way this guy lived the revised will looks exactly like what you would expect the guy to do with his assets: Leave the huts to his tenants who were probably the only people he saw regularly his whole life.

[–]LarryLove 73 points74 points75 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

People were booing at their wedding. ha ha

[–]TheRedStoic 33 points34 points35 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I'm satisfied.

The circumstances of the death are odd, the way they lived geographically is odd, they're both odd people, and rightfully if you've earned the cash you get to decide what to do with it IMO. (I know that's not remotely how it most often works).

So I'm glad. This is fine with me.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Generally when younger people have a large age gap it's looked down upon because the older party is assumed to be leveraging the younger persons lack of life experience to take advantage of them.

[–]TheRedThrowAwayPill -1 points0 points1 point 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Being older doesn't always mean you have good life experience to offer.

In the case of a mistress/wife /escort not much experience is really needed I suppose.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It's not that they're offering good life experience, it's the opposite. They're assumed to be taking of the younger persons naivety.

[–]TheRedThrowAwayPill 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I meant if she was older doesn't mean she has anything better to offer than a younger women.

[–][deleted] 18 points19 points20 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Something screams nefarious plot here.

[–]Zantitrach 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

She had 2 friends in the car, driver a guy and passenger a girl.

Also, they married in 2011 and he died in 2012. Chick couldn't even wait a significant amount of time.

OK do she got stuff while together, that doesn't mean she just gets everything because he is dead. That is the point of the will, to decide where your stuff goes.

[–]furchfur[S] 20 points21 points22 points 9 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

There is no evidence they actually had sex.

[+]gryts -15 points-14 points-13 points 9 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

No evidence so we must assume that she didn't do it? I don't buy it. You can buy it if you want, but I don't.

[–]ThavinceGene 25 points26 points27 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

There's nothing for you to buy or not... The guy decided she shouldn't get shit, that's it.

How about her living the life while he was alive? Isn't that enough for her services? And how do you know what kind of relationship they had?

[+]gryts -11 points-10 points-9 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I don't think people should get married to someone who they wouldn't leave inheritance to, unless you are up front before the marriage saying what is/is not offlimits.

[–]_Ninja_Wizard_ 11 points12 points13 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Doesn't matter what you think. People get married for stupid, selfish reasons all the time. There's a wedding happening right now.

[–]lookatmeimwhiteand a flmng homosexual, not that theres anything wrong with that 4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I also think that married people should live in the same town. But this wasn't your usual marriage. She lived a lavish live style in Paris probably on his dollar until he died. He lived in a hit with no electricity or running water.

I think their arrangement ends when he died, especially since her friend killed him.

[–]The-os 4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Yea. If someone is murdered and there was no evidence that you did it, I'd think you'd want me to assume you didn't do it.

[–]gryts 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

When it comes to murder, yes. When it comes to two people not related to the incident talking a out it on the internet, no.

[–]The-os 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So what's the demarcation point?

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Well, the will can be changed at any time, therefore for her not to see her part of the deal affected, should have had to ask for her compensation right before, or right after the act.

[–]gryts 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I understand legally where each obligation lies. Ethics is different then legality.

[–]ThegreatPee 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

We have no idea why he married her. It's just assumption. When she contested the will, she proved why she married him.

[+][deleted] -12 points-11 points-10 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No she's a woman. We must hate her.
