Where is this hypothesis typically used? It does not seem like a psychological theory to me, more of a sociological one made by someone who has ignored biological standards.

Psychologists typically recognize evolution as the underlying mechanism for virtually every behavior, especially broad ones such as mate selection. I have never heard of women being excluded from gathering resources, but typically less evolutionarily fit (and needed) to do so - their role was focused not on resource gathering but in resource utilization to raise offspring. An evolutionary division of labor came to be, one which would have men selecting mates based on apparent fertility/fitness (physical/emotional ability) and women selecting mates based on their ability to provide resources they can utilize in raising a family.

"Women seek mates who have good financial prospects because they are typically excluded from power and access to resources." is a claim I have never heard a psychologist even hint at making. "Strong support for evolved preference for resource acquisition (within cultures and across cultures [or species])" is a cornerstone of evolutionary theory, Darwin's second book was practically entirely about it.

One of the leading academic's at Harvard said that whilst men and women have roughly equal IQ's men have a much greater spread of their scores and they tend to perform much better on the logical and abstract components explaining male dominance in both the "hard sciences" and the very top levels of academia. Within about a year he had been forced to resign. Honestly these feminists remind me of the Catholic Church during the middle ages (no offence intended if anyone reading this is a Catholic)

This is a nice study (I read most of it elsewhere), but does it really confirm TRP theories in and by itself? Most of it seems to be concluded from answers women GAVE verbally and I thought according to TRP they don't always know what turns them on.

Women in my experience do prefer more feminine looking men. This idea that once a month they want a lumberjack, think the evidence is still out on that. Take a look at the K-Pop super stars, the guys are very feminine in facial features and body type. Also most boy bands in general seem to fit this rule.
