Uh, no miss. You merely protested and advocated for shelters. MEN built those shelters. MEN provided the electricity, heat, running water, and all the accouterments necessary for a shelter to run.

When they say that its a pure projection. They want the conversation and shelters to be only about women, that's why they see inclusion of men as "derailing". Then they accuse the people that suggest inclusion of being the ones that want the conversation to be all about them.

The thing that bothers me the most is how that person claimed men don't actually care about male abuse shelters, but just want to steer the conversation towards men.

That stuff really gets under my skin.

If the inclusion of men in the discussion of an injustice that affects both genders "derails" your position,

then your position was the supremacy of women, not equality.

So...OP posts a link to an article about a shelter that people opened for men in order to state that people saying men need shelters should open such shelters but that they don't do so because they don't actually care about male-shelters, and don't want to open one themselves, they just want to say that in order to derail conversations. Despite the fact that some of them clearly did just open up a male shelter.

The workings of OP(not our OP, the linked OP)'s mind make no sense.
