We should be open to fair criticism. In this case there are a handful of sexist claims, though many are taken out of context. A few points:

Some of the men who post here have undergone horrible life experiences: being sexually molested or otherwise abused by women as children and receiving no justice let alone compassion; being subjected to false accusations which ruined their lives; being denied contact with their children while simultaneously paying alimony etc. etc. It is understandable that some of these men would develop feelings of anger toward the opposite sex. It's irrational but it's also human nature.
Females are institutionally privileged in education, reproductive rights, genital integrity, parental rights, family courts, criminal courts and increasingly the workplace. This, again, is liable to cause anger. If anything, I think the people on this sub are remarkably restrained given the circumstances.
This sub is designed to support men and their rights, not political correctness. A sub as large as this will naturally attract a few assholes.
For every sexist comment there are hundred comments defending women. I do not see the same on hate subs like Against Men's Rights or SRS.
Some of those quotes were not sexist but simply true. For example the claim that "women would not be able to survive for more than two weeks without men" is more or less accurate. Men perform about 90% of essential services. If men stopped working society could collapse fairly quickly. Sorry ladies, but you do need us, fish and bicycles not withstanding.
Complaining about a few sexist comments on this sub is a tad rich coming from a movement whose founding members said things like "we, as a sex, are infinitely superior to men," and in some cases advocating genocide against men and boys. It would be like the KKK whining about a few "kill whitey" posts on a black liberation sub. The majority of feminist theory is explicitly misandrist and causes immense harm to both sexes in the real world, not just hurt feelings on the internet.

Anyway I'm not sure what you intend to prove by cherry picking quotes like that and taking them out of context.

MR is an open sub. You can say whatever you want.

It isn't a circle jerk like the sub you linked (which allows various members to say remarkably sexist and racist things BTW, /u/irbytremor is a regular and she hates white men).

There are some horrible things said in this reddit but trying to use comments with a few dozen upvotes as proof that a community of over 100k is full of hate is weak sauce.

You know what I dont see?

I dont see anyone over there pulling positive and helpful comments from this reddit as proof the good that can come from the mrm.

Who fights the battles when the US Military intervenes? Men.

I think the quote is a fair interpretation of the facts. They just don't like the facts.

It is the direct predictable consequences of the actions they have taken.

That's the definition of deserve.

Go see the image/post of some German Feminist who stated she'd rather have Rapists than Racists (those against immigration)... That's deserving rape.

They are getting what they begged and pleaded for, and they deserve the results.

I don't hate women in general. In fact, I enjoy their company, as an opposite sexual being to compliment myself. I like hanging out with the nice ones. If they're friends, they're like a guy with tits. If they're more than that, they're a fun time. Why would I hate either?

I hate cunts, though. Cunts are people who complain that you hate them, and that you must conform. Cunts basically are people who fear rejection so much, that they reject first, using a political/pseudo-religious power base (feminism) to try to make you feel powerless and like you don't deserve any relationships with women. Then they say "but if you do as I say and as I like, I'll deign to be friendly with you". They want you as a beta orbiter, after using a huge fucking political hammer to knock you down to the level of a beta, because THEY are the ones really afraid of rejection, for being women.

If they let go of their cuntiness, and just decided to be a human being, they might get rejected by the guys they really want, but they'd have to eventually get over it any spend time with the second-string guys who actually are not going to treat them like shit, despite all their claims.

I'm going to guess without even bothering to read any of that crap or the rest of that sub - based purely on the name - that (1) it doesn't have one clue what hate means and (2) it is itself closely associated with the feminist hate movement.

I guess I'll read it anyway. How did you find that subreddit anyway?

I liked the one where they say MRAs hate women for saying "feminism a hate movement" in replying on a thread about another (yet another) feminist web site calling for men to all be exterminated. Apparently that means MRAs hate women.

What fair criticism? I read a lot of different post with varying degrees sensationalism. Then a claim that you wouldn't see anything like that in r/feminism.

Only response that can be given to this post is: first this redditt isn't as heavy moderated like r/feminism. This allows a more open discussion. The downside is that bad topics come up more often. Second if the statement about r/feminism was true then nothing would ever be posted from Jezbel or similar cites.

I don't think it's fair criticism at all, from the first few enlisted posts I checked, but I'll check the rest later.

The reason is that he posts things out of context that are by far not as bad as he makes them. Also he complains about a handful of upvotes in a sub with 100k substribers. He also completely ignores that some things might be exaggerated and that people here don't have all the same opinions.

I'm looking at the list and I kind of see their point, but really they're taking a few comments and trying to smear the whole sub. Most of these barely have that many up votes, and often have upvoted replies calling them out on it.

I have personally seen upvoted comments with exact opposite opinions of these, one that comes to mind is an upvoted comment about why "AWALT" is stupid.

I don't see misogyny often, and I don't see how the movement is really doing anything misognyistic.

BUT more misogynists are coming into the sub. This is a result of the mrm becoming more popular and the formation of the MGTOW movement, which is basically radical feminism for men philosophy wise.

WHERE is the misogyny, the hatred of women? I don't see it on this sub. I don't see it in the specific comments that post quotes. What I do see is a lack of benevolent sexism. Not being sexist isn't sexism.
