Hi guys.

I came here because I'm sick of hearing the phrase "If you're not a feminist then you're a misogynist."

Perhaps a feminist is TECHNICALLY a person who believes in equality but that's not how most people use the word. Most people use the word "feminist" to describe people who are fighting for women's rights.

Most people do believe in gender equality but most people don't call themselves feminists because they aren't actively fighting for equality. They have other things to care about.

I believe in gender equality. I don't fight for women's rights though. I wouldn't be good at it. Most of my friends are guys. That's just what I prefer. There's nothing wrong with that.

I hate hanging around on feminist sites mainly because those sites are full of people who think that I'm a loser. Why? I prefer to befriend other guys. Apparently that makes me a loser ... even though women have their "safe spaces." I mostly focus on social issues that effect me and my friends. Most people are like that. I just admit it.

I'm not sure if I consider myself an anti-feminist. I don't fight against them. I mostly just try to avoid them.

Another Thing: Feminists claim that men can never fully understand women's problems. That's where the term "mansplaining" comes from. If this cause is beyond my understanding then why should I even get involved?
