I've said it before and I'll say it again: if women are the more vulnerable ones in hooking up with a man, they bear the greater responsibility. Not less. Not equal. More at stake = greater responsibility for your emotional wellbeing. He's just looking for what he wants and for all he knows, you are too. If that is not true, if you're looking for some Disney fairytale bond and and you as a woman feel "violated" when your imaginary psychic noumenal connection isn't what you thought...that's not on him.

Men aren't psychic (and neither are women no matter what trite bullshit they want to tell themselves about their superior bonding powers), nor should men be expected to be more perspicacious or circumspective when it comes to the consequences of sex for a woman, than that woman herself is. So if you consent to sex and feel raped because of information learned after the fact, you have nobody to blame but yourself. Maybe you shouldn't be fucking anyone if you can't be responsible but instead expect everyone else to be responsible for you. Maybe you are, mentally and emotionally, still a fucking child.
