Judging by your post history, you're a feminist attempting to troll men's rights by posting "Feminist" content that will resonate with us. But whatever your motivation, thanks for posting a video that will be appreciated by a lot of people here.

Rape is an issue for feminists as much as it's an issue for Men's Rights Activists, because men are raped by women and women are raped by men (and women are raped by women and men are raped by men). It's an issue that affects everyone. That said, I would definitely argue that female-on-male rape is not a feminist issue, and is absolutely a Men's Rights issue.

Despite the occasional bit of lip service paid by Feminism to the issues of female on male rape and the invisible epidemic of prison rape, Feminism overwhelmingly frames rape as something perpetrated by men against women.

Evidence of that fact is in the Feminist AgainstMensRights sub. Currently the second "hottest" post is a rejection of the criticism regarding the ridiculous anti-male flyer that depicts drunk rape as something that is perpetrated against women by men.

Men's Rights does not focus on the appalling reality of male-on-female rape –– not because it's not appalling, but because it's irrelevant to Men's Rights in the same way that the statistics regarding male workplace deaths is irrelevant to Feminism.

So yeah, in short, that video is entirely more relevant to Men's Rights than it is to Feminism.

I've seen the internal dialogue shift from trying to advocate men's issues from a feminist perspective of gender to the vitriolic us-versus-them brought about by the influx of anti-feminist reactionaries.

When reddit was new you could claim to be a men's rights advocate without people assuming that you're a misogynist, in fact it was at the time seen by 3rd wave feminists as an extension of what they were trying to accomplish.

Can you name me some of those third wave feminists and their contributions to the larger body of feminism?

Now obviously neither side is without fault, tumblrinas are just as guilty as red pillers, but there are still moderates on both sides who could work together like before if we would all just quit assuming that everyone who's a feminist lies about rape or that everyone who's a men's rights advocate wants to revert to a post 2nd wave feminism world.

You're making excuses. There should be no reason why you as a man cannot advocate causes because of your gender unless you do so on supposition that you're doing so as a anti-feminist MRA.

No where did I say my sex stopped me from anything. I said that me questioning why male rape didn't get any attention, at all, got me pushed out. There are issues that feminists and men's rights activists agree on and that's great. If there were an opportunity for us to "join forces" in a meaningful way that positively impacts people's lives, I'd be all for that.

The problem is that the feminist worldview and the misandrist advocacy that results from it is overwhelmingly a bad thing for men. A major example being efforts to ignore women's equality of opportunity in the working world in favor of pushing equality of outcome, which erodes the abilities of businesses to function as meritocracies. Another being the efforts of feminists to disallow individuals accused of rape – read: men – from receiving due process and fairness before the law.

And, sadly, that's really just the beginning.

Yes, if he claims victimhood and penetration occurs it is considered a rape. It does not say that he must be penetrated.

You have to read the "new" definition pretty imaginatively to come to that conclusion.

You're saying that, in the scenario I gave, since it involved penetration, the male would be considered a victim, even though he was not the one being penetrated. But that is clearly not how the definition functions grammatically.

The new summary definition of rape is: "Penetration, no matter how slight, […] without the consent of the victim."

The clear implication is that rape resides in the act of penetration, and that the victim is, by definition, the person being penetrated.

You think you have a better unambiguous definition of rape?

I don't claim to have a perfect or unambiguous definition, but I would only accept a definition that is gender neutral, not merely in language but also in content. It would include all forms of forcing a person to have sexual intercourse against their will, unlike the current FBI definition.

Edit: I'll take a stab at improving the FBI's definition. Rape is: The act of forcing or coercing any person to participate in sexual intercourse, be it oral, anal, or vaginal, involving either body parts or other objects, without his or her consent.

Here, let me explain why (through this won't prevent SJWs from misquoting me anyways).

All rape is equal. You can't say this rape or that rape is better or worse.

Statutory rape is often enjoyed fully by both partners. They both agree it was a great experience and have no regrets.

Therefore, all rape is equal to these instances (you aren't mansplaining about how some rape is worse or less real than other rape, are you?). That is to say, all rape is equal to cases where all participants, both willing and not, love what happened and think it was a great experience.

(And for the SJWs to need an actual explanation, this is calling bullshit on both the notion that statutory rape is rape and that all rape is equal. Of course actual rape is horrendous. Just not under your logic.)

Let's say a 45 year old teacher has sex with a 13 year old student and both people consented and enjoyed the experience: are you saying that isn't rape?

That is exactly the same as a 17 year old having sex with their 18 year old SO for two years whom they love dearly. Because all rape is all rape and you can't start talking about how certain rape is worse than other rape. Well, it is the same thing if you buy into that SJW thinking.

Of course I advocate considering each case in and of itself and determining if it is wrong and how wrong it is. As for the answer to your question, if the 45 year old is a hot female teacher and the 13 year old is a boy, then most people are going to think that he is living the dream. In reality, some situations like that are going to be extremely harmful to the child and other situations like that are going to be positive experiences. But before we can talk about that, we have to be willing to admit that all rape isn't equal.
