This is a horrible event. There is no reason to shoot a person that is running. That's what chasing is for.

And the fact that all he had on his record was back child support makes it all the worse.

This was murder. No question about it. I do not think the policeman should get the death penalty but life without parole would be a start.

I think this incident had less to do with racism and more about the right's of men to not be indentured servants; on pain of death, apparently.

Just want to make sure everyone knows this is sarcasm. On the bright side, the wife will probably be able to sue the state on "behalf" for a ton of money and live pretty comfortably.

It was actually a failure to appear warrant, basically contempt of court for failing to even show up to a hearing about child support.

This guy stole the cops taser and shot him in the chest with it. Taser didn't work because of the bullet proof chest protector, so he throws it at the officers feet. He was unarmed because he ditched his weapon seconds before he was shot.

The shooting was awful. However, the victim was driving a mercedes-benz when he was stopped by the police. It's not a good idea to make this about child support.
