The news account reveals she's guilty of assault. The question is whether his punch was in self-defense (e.g., was it proportional, etc.). Men do have the right to defend themselves even though they are, you know, men.

Yes, it contains misandristic BS.

But it also contains misogynistic BS and racist BS and transphobic BS and homophobic BS. BS is what they do. Facts and reason are occasionally used as props.

You can take them seriously if you want, but they are a joke. And everyone else knows it. So, just FYI, if you go around using The Daily Mirror as your evidence that journalism is anti-male, you are likely to get laughed at.

And there are many examples from actual news organizations of anti-male bias without having to pick this ludicrously low-hanging fruit.

This is a perfect example of why the idea of women being such 'helpless' innocent, dainty little girls is SO outdated. Look at that beast. At least HALF of women in the U.S. and England are whales like that- HUGE and can do some damage. And they're BUTCH like men and initiate violence far more often than men.

Reminds me of that news report from Australia, where a mother was at a train stop and began physically assaulting an attendant because a train was late or something. She punched the guy a few times, so he knocked her legs out from under her and took her to the ground. The news reported it as a "burly" man attacking a woman. They called him burly, and he was just fat as fuck.
