Sarkeesian is a lying troll that makes a living from making herself look like a victim. This is the face of modern American feminism. This is what it's turned into.

I would like a little honesty from these people. I'm playing through the newest Borderlands and killing enemies by the dozens; I don't actually check but don't remember seeing a single woman among them. So I wonder, what about these guys? If using the word 'bitch' in a video game sends a misogynistic message, what sort of message is sent by the mass murder of men?

Honesty won't happen. Either this 'message' doesn't matter because it's a video game and people can tell the difference between fiction and reality - or Sarkeesian thinks violence is perfectly fine; as long as it's some male killing some other male it's not even worth noticing. I know that, if I ask, the answer will be 'oh you evil misogynist stop derailing and making it all about the men.'

Game over? Since when did Anita have a controlling monopoly over game developers and studios? Anyone can develop games with a bit of effort and work, Anita included but that doesn't mean developers and studios are going to bend over backwards to change their products over crap Anita spews from her mouth. But seriously, reading her garbage day in and out almost makes me wonder if some indy developer out there is working on some sort of satirical "Patriarchy Online" MMO game. Perhaps some indy devs can make a game which goes out of its way to outrage and infuriate feminists by taking all their exaggerated claims and turning it into game play.

Many people would not care about the stuff she is spewing if they were able to vent about the lies and the ancient references that she is using. The fact that she stole people's work without crediting it.

Sorry to say that many hardcore gamers are men, they devote much of their leisure time to gaming, look at the online gamer that is a sad representation of most trollish gamers.

If you have an active subscription to the New York Times make sure to email them and let them know that they are alienating a growing segment of male readers, alienating them further will cause them to leave faster.

So, the whole 'Gamers Are Over' storm caused a massive consumer revolt that is now causing Gawker to hemorrhage from the gills, and her plan is to do exactly that same thing again. Good Luck.

FYI, her write/producer is a guy named Jonathan McIntosh. I say this because his tweets are so divorced from reality that going #FullMcIntosh (think 'full retard' from Tropic Thunder) is now synonymous with complete failure to acknowledge reality. Somehow, this wasn't the cap, and it just keeps getting better. Added note: even odds he wrote that article and she signed it.

The sad thing about Anita is that the content and criticisms of her videos are not lacking in merit. The gaming industry should be open to all forms of criticism. The problem is that her videos are so interlaced with subtle sexist anti-male sentiments that you can't take her seriously.
