One controversial opinion I hold is that we should make strides towards researching how to make cosmetic surgery more routine, and readily available to anyone who needs it.

If we can all agree how important looks are, imagine how much better life would be for everyone if getting work done on your face was as easy and accessible as a trip to the dentist.

[–]Glad-Discount-4761 2 points3 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

Thats my wish.I believe that cosmetic surgery should be covered by health insurance I heard so many case about Koreans doing surgery.I was blown away with their transformation and the way it changed their life.

[–]Antisocial_NihilistRedPill 0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy Link

Check out this dude for instance. He want from a 3/10 nobody to a Korean K-pop star:

Plastic surgery totally changed his life.

[–]Glad-Discount-4761 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Wow.Did he bleached his skin.

I mostly saw female one. This is first time I am seeing drastic transformation of man as I mostly see subtle change in man's case as mostly changes were from bodybuilding or gym.

When he said he cried after transformation.I felt him.I am saving money for laser hair removal and breast reduction. So I am bit excited about it

[–]catniagara 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

There are a lot of fake stories like this in Asian media. They encourage people to go over there for surgery. Reality is most plastic surgery looks the same.

[–]catniagara 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Idk where you live because that’s pretty much already the case here. And what it does is destroy the genetic health component. “Beautiful” people having uglyfuck kids with horrible health problems or addiction issues. Also plastic surgery IS surgery. Scar tissue, infection, med interactions and of course facial nerve damage… you can definitely leave looking worse than when you came in.

I’m more a proponent of post-humanism. Apps with filters. VR chat. Normalizing wearing masks. Robots, hell.

It would be great for people with disabilities too. If you could go to work as a robot :)

[–]TheRedPillRipperRedPill 2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

actually controversial

There’ll never be Equality. Both sexes would benefit more from accepting this fact, and working together. Than the current feminism vs patriarchy dynamic. Collaboration versus confrontation.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (19 children) | Copy Link

I was about to make a post in which people can help me find out what my ideology is but I can talk about it here. As a disclaimer I am not claiming to have invented a brand new ideology but rather I aknowlege that I am synthesis ideology that borrows heavily from past ideas and customs.

The root or framework of my ideology is about perserving healthy and happy relationships as much as possible. So if an individual action or social phenomena or social norm promotes and benefits the health and longevity of relationships that I see that as net positive. This is applicable to any relationships from friend ships to families. But for the sake of this subreddit I will focus on romance.

So here are some of my tennets of romance. I believe in the coupling of sex and romance, biological parenthood in which biological parents desire to be together and raise their kids in a happy healthy family (this does not negate the existence of adoption), and the desire to want to be together for life (this can definitely be applied to friendship and family). These are just some ideas. There are some other points I can talk about but I want to stick with these.

The controversial part is that I want to weaponize this ideology to combat the anti romantic narrative. This doesn't mean I believe the government is secretly destroying romance but rather I am noticing anti romantic sentiment in media and articles that concerns. For example when I debate people about casual sex I usually get this response , "I believe people should do what they want" but in a comment section of purple pill debate server I notice people were having anti monogamy and anti pair bonding sentiments. They said stuff like pair bonding isn't defined scientifically and that monogamy doesn't exist in human past nor should it exist. The other aspect to this is that business are making people busier and poor economic conditions are making it harder on relationship health.

Now I am not saying we should ignore the negatives but rather we should obsesse over the negatives and we should focus on increasing positives and decreasing negatives. Pillers have only interpreting dating norms but the point is to change it.

[–]Glad-Discount-47611 points [recovered] (9 children) | Copy Link

Wow.Interesting. You really seems to have faith in romances.

The controversial part is that I want to weaponize this ideology to combat the anti romantic narrative.

I would like to know how you want to weaponize it like spreading your ideology to others or something. Because this is first time I got someone with positive perspective on romance on all pill discussion reddit lol

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (8 children) | Copy Link

Thank you! I have to have faith in romance, romance subplots in books and film have helped me cope with my tragedies not saying it was the only thing that helped me cope but one of the important ones. I definitely want to see romance make other people happy for I at least owe it that much.

Yeah I want to spread it but I am not sure how I want to start it off. I have couple of different ideas of what we can do actually. Like we can have websites in which people can post positive stories about their relationship and how they make it work well and stories about couples who married or been together for life. This website can also have links interesting scientific articles related to romance and such. We can also create kids books depicting healthy relationship that can teach them healthy relationship skills and identify red flags better. Also as parents if we do be parents we ought show our kids we should display our healthy relationship skills and justify our believes by science we should expect them to belief in things we do we need to teach them the reason behind them. So maybe create books on how parents can help teach their kids healthy relationship skills. Parents should also prepare their kids to combat these anti romantic narratives and encourage critical thinking skills. These are some things I would like to do if I had reasources to do so lol.

The controversial things we can do is advocate for more social safety nets as this would help families stabilize and improve economic conditions. The other controversial thing is encourage egalitarian relationship. I read that these relationships actually do well and are stable compared to their counter part.

subplots in books and film have helped me cope with my tragedies not saying it was the only thing that helped me cope

How it actually helped you like it gave you comfort feeling? In my case,it do opposite lol

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (6 children) | Copy Link

Yeah they give me a cozy and sweet feeling. I would say they helped me cultivate mudita (look up what it means you won't regret it).

How does it do the opposite for you?

I am not not respond soon cause I am deleting the app for a bit so I don't distract myself lol

[–]catniagara 0 points1 point  (8 children) | Copy Link

I saw a TikTok about this today. He said a man wants a submissive woman until he has to pay the bills. I don’t like the word submissive but I think he’s right.

A lot of men use “traditional gender roles” meaning they want a 17th century woman who cooks, cleans, takes care of the kids and maybe has a hobby like gardening or crafts…but they don’t want to be a 17th century man with varied interests, travelled and cultured, and follows a code of gentlemanly conduct

They also want her to look like a hooker but dress like a nun but NOT have trauma…lol

To my mind, if you act like a douche and expect to somehow NOT attract someone who posts nudes on onlyfans for weed money, I don’t know what to tell you.

Personally, I watch a lot of dramas and my SO reads a lot of “fantasy” (but mostly romance) novels. Our love definitely grew out of a belief in love, and dramas help me with stuff I don’t get or can’t navigate. I don’t even watch American media anymore because it’s just so flat. It’s just two bodies slapping eachother. They might as well be dead. In many ways they are.

Besides love is beautiful on its own. It doesn’t depend on age or body type or fetishization or money. No matter how big or how small a wedding is, it’s beautiful. No matter who wears the dress or the tux, it’s beautiful.

I’m on your side :)

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (7 children) | Copy Link

You said it well in your last two paragraphs, love is beautiful

For your 2nd to 3rd paragraph are pointing towards hypocrisy in men? If you are I agree with we men can definitely be hypocrits which is stupid thing and I am working on becoming better man myself. We do need to learn to take accountability for our actions instead of resorting to hyper defensive mode 24/7.

I am glad I found another principally romantic 😊

[–]catniagara 0 points1 point  (6 children) | Copy Link

I’m pointing out that the action some men take will not yield the result they claim to want. I have met a lot of men who whine that their wife shows off too much or dresses too sexy, but they met her at a club grinding on dudes. They complain that she’s never home on weekends but they never complained about predictably running into her at the bars every Friday and Saturday night. They bitch that she got fat but they used to sit around McDonalds with her laughing at “loser girls who diet”. Marry a woman who takes photos of her naked boobs and butt and slaps them all over Instagram, and then complain when she posts pics of your kids that look “too grown”. Crap like that.

Women do it too. Complain about a guy not making enough when he’s making the same amount as always. Bitch that their boyfriend who had obvious anger issues from the jump yells at them. (Hell I’m guilty of that one, knowing a guy was a hothead with other men but thinking he’d never turn it on me). Complain that their man who has always had obvious hygiene issues doesn’t shower. That their boyfriend with a stack of porno mags embarrassed them by making a sexual comment about their friend. That they started dating a white dude with dredloks and a Bob Marley cap and how were they to know he smokes weed? That their boyfriend who they met high af at a rave turned out to be an addict.

I’m sure we all have a million examples. I mean ultimately there should be a key for every lock. If you choose to date someone it means accepting them exactly as they are. Which granted, can suck. Or seem stupid to others.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (5 children) | Copy Link

I mean for that I recommend not sacrificing your standards and looking for a partner in the place you want to meet them in

[–]TriggurWarning 4 points5 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Makeup is the biggest lie in the sexual marketplace that people gracefully accept without question.

[–]Glad-Discount-4761 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Oh man.Same

I hate makeup too.It really does contain toxic ingredients and ruin your face.I bet half of woman' skin problems would literally be gone if they avoid makeup. My skin problems literally reduced when I banned makeup in my house lol( I only use mascara and cheek tint, lip gloss whenever I go to some events). People were asking me about improved skin but they didn't believe what I replied.

Whenever on social media,I see women making reel saying thing like normalise makeup- free skin or whatever.I am like " You are one posting with makeup and asking us to normalise without makeup photo when you don't even do it"

One of the biggest communal tragedies I know of from my virtual life is seeing how incels got conned into propagating right wing propaganda.

[–]no_bling_just_dingWhitePill (self aware MSTOW) 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

i agree. there's a white nationalist youtube channel that has nothing to do with mating and science that steals manosphere terms for completely unrelated topics.

[–]MasonSub4BlackPill 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

yeah, family and friends are different, but looks still have an effect on how much love/ affection you recieve

I came to the belief that the religious text hold an undeniable truth at the core of it's stories. I was once an atheist in my youth. The reason was because I saw the evil in people who claim to be religious. In my naïve and uninform self, I decided that religion was fake because the people who preach said religions are hypocrites. The atheist community only affirm my beliefs as they continue to hack at the religious stories using modern day thinking.

As I grew older, I was suffering dreadfully. No motivation. Addiction. Self hatred. I was on a path towards nihilism. I only saw the evils of the world. Or to say, I only focused on the evils of the world. Even the good, I would conjure up ideas of falsehood and ulterior motives. I would see large non-profit organizations asking for donations and think "they take like 99% of the money for themselves, it's just a scam.". Regardless if it was true or not, those ideas colored my thoughts whenever I perceived anything or anyone.

I spent a lot of time seeking ways to remedy my depression. Watching countless motivational videos and trying to make sense of the world. That was when I stumble upon the teachings of Jordan Peterson. I didn't 100% buy into his ideas right away, but he did offer a possible solution that I was avoiding. "take responsibility". I always avoided meaningful responsibility. I thought, why not try it? So that's what I did. I tried taking a little more responsibility for my life. I watched how my life changed. For every degree of responsibility I took, my life improved in proportion.

I went from the age of 25, living in my parents house -> age of 32, married for 4 years, 2 kids and living in my own house.

I've come to the realization that it doesn't matter what hand you're dealt at the start of life. What matters is how you choose to live life. People who live in much worst conditions in life still find meaning and thrive. There's something integral about how you choose to live life that supersedes that conditions that you start with.

There's a mode of being that is the optimal strategy for living life, that applies to everyone.

These are the fundamental truths of existence. No matter who you are, what hand you were dealt, if you act in accordance to these principals, you will have an optimal life.

1) Tell the truth or try not to lie

2) Take responsibility for you actions

As easy as it's to say, it's not easy to do. But God only knows what sort of life you will have if you decided these were the principals you stake your life on.

[–]Glad-Discount-4761 0 points1 point  (5 children) | Copy Link

That's really great.Glad you overcame depression and now living happily. Thanks for sharing.

I hate to be that person but this reply didn't aligned with my question. My question was do you have any belief or opinion which can be controversial.

[–]HodgekinWhitePill 0 points1 point  (4 children) | Copy Link

Well, the way I see it, believing in taking responsibility and telling the truth is pretty radical in the west. Lol

[–]Glad-Discount-4761 0 points1 point  (3 children) | Copy Link

Well .I don't know. I mean taking responsibility is not like opinion or something. In your case, you shared your story.I think that aligned with another question like "how to move on"

I was expecting like hey I think this race will....,men are more likely to...or something. This may stupid but I was looking for like some theory or someone sharing link

[–]HodgekinWhitePill 0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy Link

That's fine. I didn't give you want you expected.

I think the most controversial thing in the west is to tell the truth. Which is a very broad idea because it encompass a lot of different ideas.

Responsibility is a way of living, which can be said to not be an idea. But I see it was an idea as well.

I'm an athiest/agnostic and I agree
Most people who are beliefless like me are complete degenerates

Most people who are beliefless like me are complete degenerates

I'm not sure if you're implying that's what I'm saying or if that's what you're saying. I don't believe that at all.

Everyone has a belief system.

Not having the right belief system doesn't automatically make you a degenerate. Not having the right belief system will make your life meaningless.

Telling the truth and taking responsibility is not specific to any one set of ideas. It can be incorporated into other belief structures.

[–]MasonSub4BlackPill 0 points1 point  (3 children) | Copy Link

I'm trying to say that a lot of people excuse their bad behaviour, because they don't believe in the consequences because there is not god.

[–]HodgekinWhitePill 0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy Link

Most people who are beliefless like me are complete degenerates

I guess I may have read this wrong.

Are you suggesting that YOU are

1) Beliefless

2) a degenerate?

I had to re-read that twice. I read it first as YOU referring to yourself as both beliefless and a degenerate. But after reading it a 2nd time, I think you were trying to say, you are beliefless, and SOMEOTHER PEOPLE like that are degenerates.

Also, my interpretation of GOD is an interesting one. I can expand on it if you're interested.

Talking favorably about religion is pretty controversial in the west as well.

[–]catniagara 0 points1 point  (9 children) | Copy Link

I have lots of controversial opinions.

The 4 upper circles of modern hell are as follows: MGTOW, PUA, RP, Incel. Each circle poses an increasing incidence of severe mental health issues, lack of self awareness, and the tendency to blame all women for their own social issues.

Too many men descend through these circles of hell and drag other men to perdition with them by using “all men” or “men” to describe their own insane opinions.

[–]no_bling_just_dingWhitePill (self aware MSTOW) -1 points0 points  (6 children) | Copy Link

FDS is in the lower circles, based

[–]catniagara -1 points0 points  (5 children) | Copy Link

There are 9circles of hell, per Dante. The upper circles are the minor crimes that lead into the major ones:

  1. Limbo, which I have equated with the space where men believe something is wrong, but want to solve it by bettering themselves.

  2. Lust, which I have equated with men who care only about who they can have sex with, and obsess over “getting women” rather than forming relationships

  3. Gluttony, which I have equated with this type of man’s increasing obsession with amassing what he believes to be knowledge the way a person who already weighs a thousand lbs continues to amass fries. He does not require any more garbage information.

  4. Greed, which I have equated with men so angry that nothing did in the upper 3 worked that they now believe in the use of force, theft, and a “by any means necessary” approach to acquiring what they now believe they must have, they DESERVE, they are entitled to…OR ELSE.

The lower circles off hell remain the same:

Violence (including against oneself)

Fraud/Malice (which would also hold the people who sell these ideas for profit)

Though I guess in modern society violence is worse than malice. But the analogies still fit for the upper 4.

[–]no_bling_just_dingWhitePill (self aware MSTOW) 1 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

incel = get by any means necessary what they are entitled to

entitled is a fairly meaningless word that means "you want something i dont like, you bad." and is often said of incels the same way it is said of the working class. desiring to experience sex does not make one any more entitled than desiring to earn money. the vast majority of incels do not use force and do not view rape or prostitution as viable solutions for their predicament. the most dangerous individuals, murderers, that associated themselves with incels have yet to rape any of their victims.

[–]catniagara -1 points0 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Sure chuckles. You got only one problem

The guy who formed the movement admitted that he no longer supports it because of the violence against women (rape and murder) being promoted within the community.

Oof and you’ve also got the intense regularity of threats of rape and the worst kind of violence on incel forums and websites to contend with if you want to keep pushing that fairy dust.

But hey, you might just get by if only all of this wasn’t easily accessible publicly posted information. Oof. Sorry bud. Guess it’s a bad day to lie.

[–]no_bling_just_dingWhitePill (self aware MSTOW) 1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

(2) i don't really see how wanting to better yourself is something to go to hell for, and i don't think redpill is "garbage information" in its entirety, at least not significantly more than mainstream bluepill and feminist theory.

[–]catniagara -1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I’ve explained it. If you don’t understand what’s wrong with it, I hope you figure it out. But at the end of the day my life is in no way affected by what you do, and here’s the kicker, I’d like to keep it that way.

[–]bludkrazeRED AF 1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Oh i spotted a stupid feminist.
