Meanwhile, Ken learns about the oppressive American patriarchal system, and feels important and accepted for the first time. Returning to Barbieland, he persuades the other Kens into taking over and the Barbies are subjugated into submissive roles such as maids, housewives, and agreeable girlfriends. Barbie arrives and tries to convince Ken and the Barbies to return to the way things were, only to be rebuffed. Gloria inspires a depressed Barbie, and with the encouragement of Sasha, Gloria, Weird Barbie, Allan, and other abandoned toy lines, the Barbies free themselves from the Kens and manipulate them to fight amongst themselves on the Barbieland beach, allowing the Barbies to regain their systemic power, and preventing the Kens from altering the Barbieland constitution to enshrine male superiority.

Barbie and Ken apologize to each other and acknowledge their failings, but Ken bemoans that he has no identity or purpose without Barbie, to which Barbie encourages him to find an autonomous identity. Barbie, who remains unsure of her own purpose and identity, meets with the spirit of Mattel co-founder Ruth Handler, who explains that Barbie's story has no set ending and her ever-evolving history surpasses that of her roots. Moved by this, Barbie decides to become human and return to the real world. Some time later, Gloria, her husband, and Sasha take Barbie, now going by the name "Barbara Handler",[a] to her first gynecologist appointment.

Let's keep it empirical, hmm? Both Ken and Barbie did EACH OTHER wrong. Both floundered in their identity crisis. This isn't an "all men bad" take. It's a "people kinda suck sometimes" take. It's a "check your perspective for holes" take. It's a "discover yourself beyond hegemonic dividends" take.

The right to an abortion has just been taken off woman

GROAN.

That's a distortion of the truth. Women in the vast majority of the West still have the right to an abortion within a reasonable gestational limit.

About 12 states in the USA have tightened the gestational limit to an unreasonably short one, and I agree this violates women's rights. But other states in the USA have expanded the gestational limit to "you can get the fetus aborted up until birth" (in the case of Minnesota I believe). Also, from what I know, every single anti-choice State in the USA makes exceptions for pregnancies that endanger the life or health of the mother.

Men are respected as a society,

Society fucking cheers things like #MenAreTrash and thinks the most awful swear word is "cunt." Sounds to me like society pedastalizes women and denigrates men rather than the other way around...

Oh please, the idea that all men in the West are judged fairly and exclusively on the basis of their actions is demented. There's a huge volume of literature that shows lookism (against both sexes) is real and that's enough to disprove your argument.
