So this is about the whole SAHM situation. SAHM does not work. This is not about child support. Let’s just consider two scenarios-

Scenario 1. 3 kids. Married 15 years. Husband makes $300k a year. Wife has a cleaning and laundry service and nanny. Kids have tutors. Nanny takes kids to school and activities. Wife has gym membership, tennis lessons. Eat out 3 times per week. Alimony is $100k.

Scenario 2. 3 kids. Married 15 years. Husband makes $100k a year. Wife does cleaning, laundry, takes kids to school and activities. Wife grocery shops and cooks all meals. Rarely eats out. Alimony is $33k.

So, from purely a financial perspective, which wife is worth more? Which wife contributes more?
