I think this does make a lot of sense, but it's missing one important point. Do you put all eggs in the same basket and then fortify that basket so that nothing ever happens to it?

There needs to be some sort of insurance that if things go south the man can get out with his skin. And to do that, you can't accept oneitis , happy wife happy life, my soulmate kind of talk. Men are brought into this world to scatter seed, and if you don't embrace an abundance mindset and protect yourself you're in deep trouble. My 2c anyway, I'm not a doctor 😅

This dude is preaching, man. Also, the more attractive or vain a woman is, the quicker the stomach empties. I wrote my ex a couple of poems when we were dating, which she kept, obviously. Every couple of years, she would dig them up, with this look of utter disappointment, just to show me how I wasn't measuring up to that "better" version of myself.

I was just trying to show her how wonderful I believed she was. I never dreamed it would be used against me. I was still very affectionate and romantic towards her, but no poetry meant I was a letdown. I know she felt like this was supposed to motivate me to be a "better" husband. It just made me wish I never wrote the shit.

Other shit, like flowers, trips, dates, and gifts, would seem to be greatly appreciated in the moment. But the expiration date on that application was alarmingly short.

Well, it has over a 50% failure rate, so unless you want something that can only be had effectively in marriage, like kids, obviously, not.
