My wife and I have been married 10 years, together nearly 15 years, and know each other for the best part of 35 years. We have a little boy of 15 months, who is our world. But I feel so disconnected now from my wife, there is no intimacy either mentally or physically. We both work me 30 hours per week, and her 37. We both hold down secure jobs with reasonable pay.

We both share house hold stuff, which is pretty much split down the middle bar a few things, since as far back as I can remember I have done the cooking - she rarely has to do that, and I always clean up after, i do the washing and ironing, she is the one that keeps the finances in check. But everything else is split down the line.

We both do a share with a little man, I would go today I do a little more as I don't work a Monday so I can spend time with him, and I always take him swimming every Sunday since he was 5 weeks old. But again, bed times, getting up through the night, taking him to daycare and back is pretty much down the line.

When asking her that we need to spend time together, she shuts me down, or say she doesn't have time. This is the bit that gets me, when the little man goes to bed, she will sit on her phone until she goes to bed, then will lie mindlessly scrolling social media until 2am sometimes later. I have asked if everything is ok, again I just get the same response.

I have suggested she get away for a few days.

Tried engaging conversations, tried and not tried with intimacy. I don't pressure her....

I just don't know what to do now.
