Probably nothing right?

It's over 20% of her income for the year. I am in sales and pay child and spousal support out of my salary every month and also pay based on a bonus table which defines a percent for me to pay her depending on the amount of each month's bonuses and commissions I get.

For example if my bonuses are in the $2000 range, i pay her 19% of that bonus in child (12%) and Spousal (7%) support.

It's lame, it's just the nature of the way I'm paid basically. It's not forever.

Here's the thing though, she got this pretty huge retention bonus last year (which I just found out about) that's around 22% of her income.

Our judgement doesn't address something like this and in my internet research it's hard to find commentary on if the PAYEE gets a bonus.

I'm wondering if anyone has a situation like this that they have experienced.

Edit: I'm in California.

Edit2: My question is - is there any way for me to go after part of that bonus. If I got a $20k bonus I'd have to pay her ~20% of it. I actually don't want to go after it - it's a hassle and not worth the cost. It might be a decent bargaining chip for me to say that I don't care about it though. Child support and spousal support are modifiable in general though the spousal isn't from my bonuses (We agreed on a particular percent).
