No idea the laws everywhere but logic to me says that whoever moved away caused this to be a cost so that is who should pay for it.

Needs to be agreed in the final settlement. Normally who ever has to do the traveling has to cover their own expenses.

Whomever moved away should be the one to pay for the flights. If you decide to split it, the parent that is receiving the child should pay for the flight to their home, and vice versa. That way you’re not relying on the other parent to book and pay for the flight back to your home.

Without an order enumerating the expense the parties pay their own costs. It can get sticky if the party pays for the kids to travel and refuses to pay for the return flight. Just be mindful of this possibility.

I'm working on some deal in mine that the cost of flights will be deducated from the spousal support/division of assets.

16 years of flights would cost me roughly 75K.

So ill just pay my own way to travel and not pay her anything.
