36M. Divorced since March 2025, after 10 years of marriage. We have joint custody of our 6-year-old daughter. My ex-wife, 36F, had been cheating on me for months before our separation. The moment the divorce was finalized, she brought the man into my daughter’s life, against therapist advice.

I told him, calmly, to stay away while my daughter is at home. He agreed. Then ignored it. Then sent me a message saying she’s his daughter too and that they’re a family now. I’ve read it a hundred times. I can’t unsee it. My ex feeds us both lies, just to light the fuse and watch us explode.

My daughter is not okay. She’s changing. Not sleeping well. Angry. I’m taking her to a new therapist. If I get the proof I need, I will fight for custody. Fully. Completely. I’ll act legally. That’s the plan with my lawyer.

But I’m not made of paperwork. I’m not infinite patience and court dates. I’m flesh. I’m blood. I’m a father.

And when something breaks inside a father, sometimes what spills out doesn’t fit inside a legal document.

Some days I stare at the weight of it all and realize: Pain stops hurting when you cross a certain line. And after that, it becomes something else entirely.

A man from nowhere, uneducated, unremarkable, made plans with my wife behind my back. They fooled me. They destroyed a decade of my life. Now they have the compensation, the alimony, the home. And after all that, I’m the one getting threats.

Please don’t tell me I need therapy. What I need is vengeance. What I want is for them to disappear.
