How come when men get something fair in a divorce, it’s a victory?

In the beginning the stbx was yelling and screaming that she’s getting the kids and I can have visitation and she’s getting ultimate decision making and everything pertaining to the children is her choice and I have to pay child support.

Well child support is based on incomes, so that’s one that she doesn’t control.

Anyways, I just received the parenting plan from her lawyer and it’s not even close to all of the screaming and yelling she was demanding.

Long story short, we have 50/50 decision making,m. She DOES NOT get the final say in ANYTHING. Everything is very fair.

The one issue is the overnights. Overnights decide the child support numbers even further. They tried to short me overnight due to my work schedule. I was not excepting the offer. I could not figure out the best way to increase my overnights. Well I plugged it in to ChatGPT and it found a way to get me WAY more overnights. Even more than she could get. The overnights are still in negotiation phase.

I think someone told her to pump her brakes, she don’t back down on her own. I’m guessing the lawyer may have told her that she wouldn’t get what she wanted.

Anyways, I guess we can chalk it up to a minor victory. For all you guys dealing with this, stay strong. It’s definitely not easy by any means. Head up and out God first.
