Wife thinks there are hidden assets but there are not, sadly. Wife thinks she will be awarded the house, alimony and possibly be awarded these nonexistent hidden assets. It will be her loss when she wastes money on a forensic accountant.

Has anyone been in this situation where the wife thinks there are Signficant hidden assets and they Aren't there? Really worried what kind of colossal meltdown is coming when reality hits and she finds out she will have to adjust her overspending lifestyle. I'm even worried she will get aggressive and impulsive-she has a history of acting out with aggression then switching to suicidal ideation when she doesn't get her way. Any thoughts or advice is appreciated.

Yes I know it's her lawyers job to ground her on reality but she seems to have convinced her attorney that there's a hidden pot of gold.
