Find a hobby.
Focus on your career/start a side hustle/Make more money.
Hit the gym daily.
Stay away from SINGLE moms at ALL costs and anyone who claims their ex was abusive. Do NOT raise another man’s child. You may end up being on the hook financially (Child support) for their kid if you leave.
Travel once a year.
Read books like No More Mr. nice guy
Open up the New Testament and start reading daily + listen to Charles Stanely on YouTube. • Learn to forgive your ex. This will set you emotionally and mentally free so you can begin enjoying life once again.

The bar for defamation is difficult to get over and you need to be able to prove actual damages. It absolutely feels good to talk about something like this - believe me I know - but it takes a lot of time, money and energy to win a suit like this. All of those things might be better spent doing other things. This sort of action can be corrosive in all kinds of ways.

My advice is to think long and hard before embarking on this; maybe talk to a lawyer or two to see what it might cost you. I suspect it will be many thousands of dollars and my sister, a lawyer, says this is not the sort of case lawyers will typically take on contingency so you'll need to pay up front.

I used to talk about doing something like this with my buds drinking beer around a fire. It never went any further than the though. Fun to imagine and talk about.

Living well is the best revenge.
