Its hard to find corners to vent in (like truly express yourself), it seems like people (both men and women) are much more open to mocking men/masculinity and victimizing women or supporting them. Makes me feel like I have to walk on eggshells around who I can truly just open up to about how horrible women can be, if I even hint at the fact it becomes an argument or a comparison when truly I’m just angry and want to blow off steam and maybe just focus on analyzing/understanding women. All i hear and see among people is how men are the issue, masculinity is openly the butt of jokes on modern tv shows and in movies, and we’re openly shunned/shammed for being what nature made/needs us to be. Whereas it’s taboo to do any of the same things openly towards women and I don’t necessarily want it to be normalized but would just like to blow off steam and try to understand why women behave the way they do without arguments/comparisons (the whole “men do that too”) or fear of getting accused of sexism.
