Go to an attorney and have them recommend a PI! You want endless evidence texts, e-mails, photos, and videos of her doing the act. It can get really costly quite fast, and my attorney explained to me in my state that I need video evidence of them naked having sex to prove adultery. You are going to want a cheap divorce and to protect your assets. At the end of the day, people won't care that she cheated on you.

If adultery has a legal impact, then it may be worth the money. If you want to strategize the divorce, I'd talk to a lawyer before taking any actions that can legally impact your case to help you strategize.

PI is expensive but is worth the money as your state is at fault.

So close to retirement, just sell your house and other stuff, cash out retirement plans and move across the country. Let her try and file for default divorce

She will try to paint you as abusive in order to justify her affair. It's a face saving tactic.

That's why you should try to bring it up and record her answer. See if you can do a date timestamp on the recording so she can't claim that it's old.

"Hey honey. I have a serious question. I'm trying to be a better person and atone for any shortcomings in my life. In our marriage, have you ever felt abused in any way by me?"

Keep your cool, talk to the pi and/or lawyer on a phone you're wife can't trace...

The biggest issue is don't tip your hand till you have all the evidence and everything is lined up.

That's a very good reason to get a PI.

And then GTFO.

You will take a huge financial hit. But it will be worth EVERY penny.
