So I'm the new gf, he says I'm the first relationship he's had since they separated. About 4 years. He lied about having not tried to be w her again after the first 2 years separated, and then he lied about who he was with. So, I'm not a divorcee, have no kids, but I do come from a very broken home and have dated my share of divorced men (I'm mid-40's) I'm wondering, and this is for the men obviously, how can I tell for sure he's over her?

To give some context he says she cheated on him. I don't know what's true. But I do know she's since remarried and had two kids. But she keeps their 2 kids away from him in very very horrible ways. They're also severely neglected. For now she seems to be the guilty party even though I usually take the woman's side.

How can I tell for sure he's done?
