Let’s say youve reached your tipping point on your marriage. You’ve tried and tried and tried but nothing seems to be good enough or make any real difference in your relationship. You are certain your wife has lost interest in the marriage, no longer seems to want to work on things, and doesn’t even see any major issues that need to be addressed. It’s like she doesn’t see or acknowledge the urgency of my concerns and treats them with general indifference no matter how I present them. Just simple things like wanting to work on our issues, spending time together, etc. What kind of conversation do you have or have you had that told your wife you were done playing games and if things didn’t change you were done…but like in a sensitive way that didn’t come off as aggressive or threatening. I still love my wife and want nothing more than to keep my family together. But I just can’t keep being her doormat and tripping over myself to make her love and appreciate me. I’m completely ready to let go but don’t want to jump ship on something that is repairable. I’m just wondering if anyone has experience or advice on tell her your concerns in a way that can make real and meaningful change. For both of us. Thanks in advance.
