As the daughter of a herpetologist (Person who farts around with reptiles), I spent way too long trying to figure out the breed and what seemed so off with this. Conclusion: odd colored rubber snake being wheeled in, in a most un snake-like manner. Also: girl is a badass

Most of my dad’s friends are very interesting and intelligent. Many of them are doctors or scientists or zoo directors or animal wranglers for movies and have great stories. They are who those odd kids in school grow up to be. Weird, but cool if you get to know them!

It’s a rubber snake on a fishing rod! Someone else pointed out you can see the shadow of the person reeling it in, and when she picks it up the snake doesn’t move and just flops around. It’s pretty good though.
