anyone else get annoyed when guys ask you questions based on THEIR interests?

I get this all the time. I have a business in real estate. I’ve been doing this for 25 years.

But apparently I need to be told that I should “buy cheap houses” in the worst part of the city or “get more finance and really expand”. There is this assumption that I need to be told how to run my own business, that I literally have no idea what I am doing. It’s infuriating and boring at the same time.

I had guy who was too stupid to understand when I've told him that I dont like video games. He used to text me about them and get upset when I've told him that I dont know what is he talking about.

Or when you politely listen to them talk about their interests you don't share, but they try to change the topic when you want to talk about something interests you.

Very. Football questions drive me up the fucking wall. I use to put it in bold letters. “No Football” But they’ll continue to ask those questions about my favorite team.

I had a guy constantly inflict info on me about his hobby that I wasn’t in the slightest interested in. He got offended when I told him to stop, explaining that he wanted me to feel included in his hobby and that he wants me to understand it. Then I asked if he was interested in how Indo-European evolved into old German and how those languages branched off into the modern German languages today, since we’re “including each other in our interests.” Big surprise, the expectation apparently doesn’t go both ways.

He stopped info-dumping real quick.

They probably have dealt with a lot of pickmes that fake interests that are similar to these guys to get that ring.
