most ladies do not listen to me, ever, when i say this. before i broke out of my shell, i was that kind of nerdy, high grades earning, shy girl with bad bangs back in high school, so i attracted a lot of male friends. they were also the nerdy, introverted type who preferred music or board games as hobbies rather than sports.

when i tell you that they’d just abandon their awkward and quiet demeanor for the girls that they liked, i mean it. two of them got into a physical fight because they both planned on asking out the same girl but never consulted each other beforehand. one of them stopped the music at a small house party and serenaded the girl that he liked and got her a gift. one of them learned to drive and got a job to save up enough money for a car before boldly asking out a girl, and he decorated her locker about it as well. again, these were the guys who would stutter when called on in class and look down at their shoes when spoken to by strangers.

if a guy likes you, you will know. god, will you know lol.

Yes! If you offer yourself up to a man who is really not that into you, he will still waste your time and toy with you.

If you chase them, they will likely entertain you because it means they can get easy sex. They know they don’t have to put in effort because you made the first moves, so you already want them. You’ll never know how much they like you truly.

Do you want someone who wants you because you’re easily available or do you want someone who wants you because they couldn’t miss out on a chance to date you?

I’m offended at what I attract. I feel like a pretty woman who has truck stop bathroom users have the audacity to try to flirt with me. It effects my self esteem because I think I should be getting better than the slime balls who try. Of course, the ones I wish would make a move never do.

From my experience, those who want you also could be trash so I can't even imagine what chasing would give me but I'm sure it would be trashier. I never did and I'll never do.

This is also where the "sunk cost fallacy" enters the game. Since you had to chase him you are less likely to walk away when he mistreats you. PUA's know this so they advertise for a manipulation taktic called "girl chase". It's like their beloved "dread game" but on steriods.

How do you ladies avoid becoming too distant? I'm naturally someone who doesn't reply to texts like I should and barely answers the phone. I then get men who say they thought I didn't like them, so I overthink it

Man, I’m still not over that post from a couple days ago where the woman asked out the “shy guy” from work. She even double texted him when he didn’t respond to the first time she asked if he’d be interested and eventually got a “positive” response. Dude is obviously like “well shit, why not...Couldn’t hurt I guess”. So painful.
